As we reported yesterday, Josh Rendon and Ebony Jackson were both busted ON the Little Rock Air Force Base Rendon for putting their kid at risk (and doing drugs). Josh Rendon of 16 and Pregnant is currently under investigation by the U.S. military for his conduct leading up to his arrest early this week on charges of endangering the welfare of a child (and various drug charges to boot). He could be court-martialed in addition to his legal woes. On Tuesday, police raided Rendon and Ebony#39;s

The longtime lovebirds are engaged in a full-scale legal war surrounding their former union. The legality of which is currently in question. Perhap

The past week has been an emotional and challenging one, as people across the world have mobilized to get the word out regarding the pending execution of Georgia inmate Troy Davis in the face of serious doubts about his guilt in a 1989 murder. As we speak, protesters are at the White House letting the POTUS know just how they feel about this miscarriage of justice. Davis is scheduled to be put to death at 7pm EST tonight. If Davis’ life is not spared, was it all in vain? And if he is freed, does the fight stop tonight? Absolutely not. This man’s case can be the catalyst to spark new interest in abolishing the death penalty in the US for once and for all. First, everyone should understand why capital punishment does not work. The National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty has put together a list of the top ten reasons why we should oppose legal murder: 1. Executions are carried out at staggering cost to taxpayers: It costs far more to execute a person than to keep him or her in prison for life. 2. Capital punishment does not deter crime: There is no evidence that the threat of death prevents crime. The Southern US has both the highest capital punishment and murder rates in the country. 3. States are unable to prevent accidental executions of innocent people: 138 people to date have been pardoned while on Death Row. If someone is executed and then found innocent, then what? 4. Race plays a role in determining who lives and who dies: While the numbers of Black and White murder victims have been similar since 1977, some 80% of people executed were convicted of murdering a White person. Is the crime of murder more terrible if the victim is White? The death penalty seems to indicate so. 5. The death penalty is applied at random: There are 22k homicides every year, but only 150 people sentenced to death. Why? The NCADP fingers “politics, quality of legal counsel and the jurisdiction in which a crime is committed”. 6. Capital punishment goes against almost every religion: While there is supposed to be a separation between church and state, it doesn’t stop the same religious people who oppose abortion (yet often support the death penalty) from citing faith as a reason to prevent legal killings. 7. The U.S. is keeping company with notorious human rights abusers: Over 128 nations worldwide have abandoned the death penalty. And only China, Saudi Arabia and Iran put more people to death each year than America. 8. Millions of dollars could be diverted to helping the families of murder victims: The money used to execute people could be used to provide therapy, compensation of lost wages and other more tangible methods of recompensing victims of murder. 9. Bad lawyers are a persistent problem: Incompetent lawyers have been a huge factor in determining who lives and who dies. The better the quality of the legal representation, the less likely the accused will face death…is that fair? 10. Life without parole is a sensible alternative to the death penalty: Almost every state has a life sentence option available for sentencing criminals. You can take someone’s life without taking their breath. You can also be sure that someone who is later exonerated is alive to receive justice. With this information, where do we go next? Well for starters, continue contacting local government/government officials in jurisdictions that use the death pentalty. Georgia should hear the voice of the people long after tonight for what has transpired there, regardless of the final outcome. Also, get involved with orgs such as the NCADP. Use your cyber presence (Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc) to spread the word about pending executions. VOTE your feelings! Demand accountabily from candidates and officials seeking re-election. Last week, Jersey Shore focused on the aftermath of Mike getting his ass kicked by a wall, and on Snooki’s ongoing relationship issues with Jionni. Amazingly, it was Ron who helped both his co-stars work through their issues. Elsewhere, Pauly and Vinny introduced us to the glory that is FPC . Now that everything is back to normal (sort of), the gang reverted to vintage skanky, drunken, hilarious form at the (Italian) shore last night. As always, we break down all of the top Jersey Shore quotes and moments for you as we recap Thursday’s gripping installment, THG +/- style! The roommates/producers decide to take a weekend trip to visit the beaches in Riccione. How on earth did they ever get time off from “work”?? Minus 4 . “It looks like Hawaii, so it’s like an island, or maybe on a border of a continent, you know what I mean, so it’s like by ocean.” – Effing Snooki. Minus 11 . The guys met Mike’s Italian “twin.” Now THERE’S a situation! Plus 2 . At least he’s neck brace-free now. Although that was hilarious. Wash . The girls proceeded to get sloshed and learn how to say vagina in Italian. Plus 3 , because that body part was certainly on the minds of two of them. Snooki plowed into a bush. More foreshadowing for later. Plus 9 . She and Deena proceeded to break it down so hard on the dance floor that the latter’s panties fell down. Dudes, that can’t happen by mistake. Minus 5 . Team Meatballs was, of course, late to dinner. Then MIA at dinner. They did make it to the club, though, coo-ca displays and all. Parents? So proud. Plus 6 . Snooki and Deena start full-on making out with each other at the club. It’s the kind of thing that would be sexier if it weren’t, you know, Snooki and Deena. Still, pretty funny how low these two will stoop, so Plus 10 . Plus 9 more for the image directly above. The fans dig it. Dooki (we like that one) fell down walking to the cab. Ouch. Fortunately they were there to tongue each other back to health. It’s starting to get weird. Minus 7 . JWoww sums it up as well as we ever could: “Nicole and Deena are digesting each other’s tongues. I am so skeeved out I want to throw up.” Same. Plus 6 . Even Sam gets in on it: “I don’t even make out this long with Ron.” Plus 5 . Vinny, later: “It smells like hot sweat and regret in here.” Yep. Plus 4 . The two idiots wake up clothed, so they likely didn’t do anything more to each other in bed. Plus 6 , because JWoww would’ve had an aneurysm otherwise. Jionni somehow does not freak out when he hears about this, which is nice. But Plus only 3 , because if he had the visuals we did it might be a different story. Pauly D got straight up swacked – when one’s swagger is jacked – by Ronnie, stealing his signature move of waking peeps up. No FPC, but we like it! Plus 6 . While off to put the G in GTL, Snooki REAR-ENDS A POLICE CAR, resulting in one officer carted off on a stretcher and two meatballs taken downtown. Minus 22 for her sheer ineptitude and for MTV somehow allowing her to drive, at all. If Snooki were ordered to be given a breathalyzer at random days and times during the week – the way pro athletes are randomly drug tested – how often would she be under the legal limit? We’d say rarely if ever. Plus 5 . “I don’t want to go in a cop car ever again.” – Snook. Odds of that? Slim. Minus 3 . EPISODE TOTAL: +21 . SEASON TOTAL: +128 .
Looks like T.I. is stuck in prison, at least for now. Prison officials in Atlanta put the kibosh on the legal challenge to the decision to yank the rap star back to prison immediately following his Aug. 31 release. The Federal Bureau of Prisons told T.I.’s lawyer he was “not entitled to legal counsel” in the process by which officials review the decision to lock him up. Authorities remanded him into federal custody for failing to disclose that his trip to a halfway house would be on a pimp ass tour bus with cameras in tow. T.I., wife Tameka Cottle and even the halfway house officials insist he did nothing wrong, but the prison officials have refused to budge on this matter. T.I.’s attorney originally sent the Bureau a letter last week, asking to be present at the hearings that would decide his client’s fate. He was turned down. Two hearings have already occurred without T.I.’s lawyer present, one last week and one the week before. It’s unclear what transpired at either meeting. For now, however, he remains locked up , though his sentence is set to expire in October, so before long, he should be free to roll out – tour bus and all.
I like keeping track of Hilary Duff’s pregnancy…you know there’s just something about hormonal changes and the inability to get knocked up cuz she’s already knocked up that tickles my fucking prostate, wakes it up, and reminds it to go back into semen production….
Here’s dumpy part time self-shot porn peddler, part time actor, part time lesbian, part time front to a gay guy for media attention cuz she was owned by Disney, Vanessa Hudgens….and she’s wearing workout gear which I assume is in response to all the teasing and renaming of her to Vanessa Pudgens, cuz you know she reads my site, at least her legal team does, cuz they always email me such nicely writen threats that I intrepret as love letters and poetry to praise our relationship….cuz that’ real love….but then again I drink alot, I’m confused, and often times dillusional…FUN.
As Lohan sues him over the lyrics to ‘Give Me Everything,’ the rapper extends an olive branch. By James Montgomery Pitbull Photo: Michael Loccisano/Getty Images Pitbull and Lindsay Lohan may currently be at odds over the lyrics of “Give Me Everything,” but the rapper has extended an olive branch to the oft-troubled actress … in the form of an invitation to this Sunday’s . That’s what Mr. 305 said in a statement posted Thursday (August 25) on his Planet Pit website , in which he addressed the lawsuit Lohan filed last week that alleges the lyrics of his hit — in particular, the line “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” — are “destined to do irreparable harm” to the actress’ career. Pit want it known that he hopes the two sides can hash out their differences at the VMAs. “We’ll be performing [‘Give Me Everything] at the VMAs , and, as a matter of fact, I’d like to send out an invitation to Lindsay Lohan,” Pitbull said. “Hopefully she can come with me to the VMAs, and we can figure this out.” Pitbull also said he was “very surprised” when he first learned of the lawsuit, especially since he considers “Give Me Everything” — and his mention of Lohan — to be positive. “It was very ironic, to be honest with you. At first I read it and I was like, ‘Nah, this has got to be a joke,’ [but] come to find out it’s very realistic,” he said. “Me being someone who supports Lindsay Lohan’s career, where I’ve seen her go through everything she’s gone through, and everything that has to do with this record is so positive — you see the way I start off the record, where I say, ‘I took my life from negative to positive/ I just want y’all to know that’ — when I mention Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was really a positive message. “[The lyric] is ‘Hustlers move in silence, so I’m tip-toeing/ So keep blowing, got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,’ ” Pitbull continued. “When I say I got it locked up, if you’re from the neighborhood, when they say, ‘You got it locked up’ that means you run that area.” And as far as Lohan’s claims that the song has caused her — and her career — irreparable harm, Pitbull said that he never intended to hurt anybody … quite the opposite, in fact. “In no way, shape or form would I want to bring that on anybody. I didn’t look to defame, degrade or hurt someone’s career,” he said. “For me, mentioning it on a number one record around the world, I thought it would be helping someone’s career, and keeping them relevant. We mention people’s names all the time; when it comes to rapping, it’s always about double meanings and metaphors and how you flip certain things.” Pitbull added that he’s not sure what the next step in the legal process would be (“That has to come with the attorneys,” he said). But who knows? Perhaps things will be patched up after Sunday’s VMAs. “It shows that success comes with a whole lot,” Pit said. “And I always say, as hard as you work to succeed in this music business, there’s four or five people working harder to take it all away from you.” The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8. Weezy’s VMA performance and nominations lead up to the long-awaited release on Sunday night. By Alvin Blanco Lil Wayne Photo: Clinton Gilders/ FilmMagic Lil Wayne is going to dabble in a little midnight madness. Already scheduled to perform at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Weezy has just announced that he’ll also be dropping his highly anticipated new album, Tha Carter IV, at midnight, right after the show. “I am extremely excited to be the first artist to utilize such an amazing idea. I hope that I can open the door for others,” Lil Wayne said in a press statement. The YMCMB rapper’s latest will be released digitally via iTunes, Amazon and other legal MP3 download destinations at 12 a.m. on August 29. Those still dedicated to physical CDs need not worry since the album will be in retail stores later that Monday. The release of Tha Carter IV will be the capstone to a big night for Weezy, who is also up for Moonmen in the Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Collaboration categories. And despite Wayne’s skateboarding accident over the weekend (he tweeted that he needed nine stitches for a gash over his eye), he is sure to take the Nokia Theatre stage by storm this week. “The MTV Video Music Awards are one of the most watched and respected shows in the industry,” Ronald “Slim” Williams, CEO of Cash Money Records, said in a statement. “Wayne is one of the most respected and prolific artists in the industry. By pairing the release of Tha Carter IV with the VMAs, it will certainly add to the overall anticipation and excitement for fans everywhere for what will surely be an unforgettable evening.” With Jay-Z and Kanye West throwing a wrench into traditional album-release strategies with their Watch the Throne project, Lil Wayne has chosen to make his own release an event by coinciding with another. “Lil Wayne continues to change the game; this time with a new release strategy that demonstrates the power of the VMAs to grab the attention of music fans,” MTV President Stephen Friedman said. “After our millions of viewers experience the VMAs, they can go online at midnight and download the album they’ve all been waiting for.” Tha Carter IV ‘s latest single is “She Will” and will feature appearances from, T-Pain, Tech N9ne, Rick Ross, John Legend, Jadakiss, Nas and Busta Rhymes, among others.
