The Mid-Autumn Festival marks the day when the moon is at its brightest and is an important event that celebrates harvest and Thanksgiving in Chinese culture. Observed on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 21 and the celebration has become an occasion for families to get together.
