Alexis Crawford’s Grisly Killing Is Detailed In Devastating Court Documents

Source: Facebook and Fulton County Jail T he specifics of Alexis Crawford ‘s death are coming to light, according to Fulton Superior Court documents that were released on Tuesday. The details continue to be shocking and tragic. According to 11Alive , the 21-year-old Clark Atlanta University student was allegedly strangled and smothered to death after a physical altercation with her roommate. Crawford was first reported missing on Nov. 1 and authorities finally found her body in a DeKalb County park last Friday. According to a Homicide Unit summary, Jordyn Jones — Crawford’s roommate and seemingly best friend — got into a physical altercation with Crawford on Halloween. The report further noted that 21-year-old Barron Brantley , Jones’ boyfriend, got involved in the fight and ended up choking Crawford to death with his hands. The warrant for Jones also claims that she “did smother the victim, Alexis Crawford, with a black trash bag until Crawford stopped breathing and was deceased.” Investigators said Brantley admitted these details in an interview on Friday. The homicide summary goes on to say that Jones and Brantley put Crawford in a plastic bin and took her body to Exchange Park in Decatur. From there, they placed her body in a wooded area. A Fulton County Superior Court pretrial report said that Jones’ father told the court that Jordyn is also on probation for a DUI in Michigan. Jones is set to appear in court on Nov. 25 and Brantley is scheduled for Nov. 22. Crawford’s family was rightfully shocked by her death, especially considering her roommate is the prime suspect. Rev. Markel Hutchins spoke on behalf of the family and said Jones “spent time with the family, in the family home.” He continued, “They knew Jordyn, they liked Jordyn. There was never a reason to suspect that Jordyn would do anything wrong or ill to Alexis. One family member described them as two peas in a pod. … To go from that to where we are today, it’s unthinkable, unspeakable.” When Crawford was reported missing, Jones initially told investigators that Crawford asked her for a ride to the liquor store on Oct. 30 at about 11:30 p.m. Jones then said that they returned home and that she last saw Crawford around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 31 before going to bed for the night. It was later revealed that Crawford filed a police report saying she was sexually assaulted before going missing, however it appears that law enforcement didn’t take any action.  The Washington Post reported, “Crawford told authorities that Brantley had rubbed her shoulder with his hand and kissed her on the neck as they drank together, according to a police report. Crawford told police Brantley said he’d mistaken her for his girlfriend — Crawford’s roommate, Jones.” Crawford claimed that Brantley locked “her inside the bathroom wearing only a bra, the report states. It’s unclear exactly when Jones found her roommate.” A “pair of cut panties” were found in the bathroom. Jones alleged Crawford “had passed out” and Brantley denied having sex with her.  There’s no word yet if the alleged physical altercation between Crawford, Jones and Brantley was related to Crawford’s alleged sexual assault. Crawford’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. at Hill Chapel Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia, the student’s hometown. Walker defended her choice to not touch and hug fans due to the fact that she identifies as an empath. After the unnamed fan’s Instagram post explaining how the meet and greet ruined her perception of the 23-year-old singer, Walker took to Instagram to set the record straight. Lmao Summer is out here scamming the girls. pic.twitter.com/zPrq6dVb7G — aaron. (@aarxnjamal) November 8, 2019 From Summer Walker’s IG: I just want to say to all the fans who purchase meet & greets I really APPRECIATE y’all taking the extra time to meet me and share your stories. I tell everyone individually “thank you”, I spread love, we laugh & I give genuine compliments now for those who’re upset b/c I don’t give hugs idk what to tell you…I’m an empath, and that transference of energy from that many people each day would literally KILL me.. y’all may not understand what I’m talking about but for example… there’s a lot of people out here faking the funk with a smile on their face like they got it together but inside your actually suffering from some sort of traumatic experience, a loss, depressed, fearful, envious or whatever the case may be BUT I CAN FEEL IT. So I ask you please respect my space in those moments Near the top of the month, Walker expressed frustration at the industry and the energies of others in an Instagram post where she declared herself to be just a regular person. Tyler, The Creator Slams Fans Who Booed Drake, Really Likes “Feel No Ways”

More here:

Source: Lars Niki / Getty As you probably heard, Drake was unceremoniously booed this weekend when he performed a surprise set at the Camp Flognaw Music Festival. The man who invited him, Tyler, The Creator , took to Twitter to criticize those who disrespected the 6 God, while also taking some of the blame himself. The crowd had been anticipating an appearance from Frank Ocean, but instead got Drizzy, and as you know, that didn’t go over too well. Writing in all caps, because of course, Tyler broke down what happened and admitted Drake and the crowd wasn’t exactly the best of fits. “I thought bringing one of the biggest artist [sic] on the f*cking planet to a music festival was fire!,” Tyler tweeted. “But flipside, a lil tone deaf knowing the specific crowd it drew. Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like assholes when it didnt [sic] come true and I don’t f*ck with that.” Nevertheless, Tyler went on to express appreciation for Drake holding it down despite the hostile environment. He added, “This n*gga did Feel No Ways! Song is beautiful.” and a “Thank you Aubrey!” later on. He really likes “Feel No Ways.” However, he didn’t let the “fans” off the hook. “Also, mostly everyone was having a great time, those sh*ts in the front area were the ones being mad rude, which, I can see why, but, nah, f*ck that, yall represented me and Flog to my guest and made us look sooo entitled and trash. That sh*t was like mob mentality and cancel culture in real life and I think that sh*t is f*cking trash.” No lies detected. Also, Drake has spoken, to Akademiks. Drake is taking it in stride tho… he told me personally regarding the camp flog gnaw performance it’s a “moment of humility which is always welcomed”. He also added “was just not my night. Wasn’t who they wanted to see”. — DJ Akademiks (@Akademiks) November 11, 2019 Peep Tyler’s full spiel below. Chamillionaire, E-40 & Daymond John Launch $100K Competition For Minority Or Woman-Owned Startup

Original post:

Source: Bob Levey / Getty Chamillionaire has long made the seamless transition from award-winning musician to savvy businessman and has used his platform to help others achieve their goals. Having done similar contests in the past , the Texas artist will join forces with E-40 and FUBU’s Daymond John to launch a competition that will grant seed money to the next great minority or woman-owned startup. Chamillionaire was on CNBC Monday to discuss the new competition, mentioning in the chat that the trio will be working with equity investment firm Republic as he’s done in times past with E-40. This time, the stakes are higher and the startup has the potential to win $100,000 for their idea or company. While talking with CNBC, Chamillionaire made note that he finds it baffling that venture capitalists claim they can’t find African-American projects to fund, this after he attended the AfroTech conference in Oakland, Ca. this past weekend and came across thousands of tech workers and entrepreneurs of color. Via Cham’s Convoz app, potential contestants can make their pitch and get connected with the judges. Check out Chamillionaire’s CNBC chat below. Salute to him, E-40, Daymond John, and Republic.
