In those documents obtained by 11Alive , Crawford was allegedly strangled and smothered to death by both her roommate Jordyn Jones and Jones’ boyfriend, Barron Brantley after a physical altercation with Jones. Both Jones and Brantley have been charged with murder in her death. According to a Homicide Unit summary, Jones, Crawford’s roommate got into a fight with her on Halloween. Brantley, according to the report, got involved in the fight and choked Crawford with his hands. The warrant for Jones alleges the CAU student “smothered the victim” with “a black trash bag until she stopped breathing and was deceased.” The summary continued by stating that both Jones and Brantley placed Crawford’s body in a plastic bin and then dumped it in Exchange Park in Decatur before moving to a wooded area nearby. Both are due in court next week. Crawford’s funeral is set for Saturday at Hill Chapel Baptist Church.

The details continue to be shocking and tragic. According to 11Alive , the 21-year-old Clark Atlanta University student was allegedly strangled and smothered to death after a physical altercation with her roommate. Crawford was first reported missing on Nov. 1 and authorities finally found her body in a DeKalb County park last Friday. According to a Homicide Unit summary, Jordyn Jones — Crawford’s roommate and seemingly best friend — got into a physical altercation with Crawford on Halloween. The report further noted that 21-year-old Barron Brantley , Jones’ boyfriend, got involved in the fight and ended up choking Crawford to death with his hands. The warrant for Jones also claims that she “did smother the victim, Alexis Crawford, with a black trash bag until Crawford stopped breathing and was deceased.” Investigators said Brantley admitted these details in an interview on Friday. The homicide summary goes on to say that Jones and Brantley put Crawford in a plastic bin and took her body to Exchange Park in Decatur. From there, they placed her body in a wooded area. A Fulton County Superior Court pretrial report said that Jones’ father told the court that Jordyn is also on probation for a DUI in Michigan. Jones is set to appear in court on Nov. 25 and Brantley is scheduled for Nov. 22. Crawford’s family was rightfully shocked by her death, especially considering her roommate is the prime suspect. Rev. Markel Hutchins spoke on behalf of the family and said Jones “spent time with the family, in the family home.” He continued, “They knew Jordyn, they liked Jordyn. There was never a reason to suspect that Jordyn would do anything wrong or ill to Alexis. One family member described them as two peas in a pod. … To go from that to where we are today, it’s unthinkable, unspeakable.” When Crawford was reported missing, Jones initially told investigators that Crawford asked her for a ride to the liquor store on Oct. 30 at about 11:30 p.m. Jones then said that they returned home and that she last saw Crawford around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 31 before going to bed for the night. It was later revealed that Crawford filed a police report saying she was sexually assaulted before going missing, however it appears that law enforcement didn’t take any action. The Washington Post reported, “Crawford told authorities that Brantley had rubbed her shoulder with his hand and kissed her on the neck as they drank together, according to a police report. Crawford told police Brantley said he’d mistaken her for his girlfriend — Crawford’s roommate, Jones.” Crawford claimed that Brantley locked “her inside the bathroom wearing only a bra, the report states. It’s unclear exactly when Jones found her roommate.” A “pair of cut panties” were found in the bathroom. Jones alleged Crawford “had passed out” and Brantley denied having sex with her. There’s no word yet if the alleged physical altercation between Crawford, Jones and Brantley was related to Crawford’s alleged sexual assault. Crawford’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. at Hill Chapel Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia, the student’s hometown. Tiffani Shadell Lankford, 32, is charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault after she punched and stomped on the head of a student during class. Cellphone footage shows the violent altercation between the teacher and the pupil that took place at Kyle, Texas’ Lehman High School. ABC 13 reports that a student in the class said Lankford became agitated at the Spanish class and eventually closed in on the victim. There are other angles of the viral video showing the student hitting the teacher first. The local school district said Lankford passed a background check when they hired her in August, added that “there is absolutely no excuse or circumstance that can justify what you see unfold on the video.” The student’s family has obtained legal counsel so presumably, a lawsuit is forthcoming. “We are shocked and disgusted after seeing the abuse and excessive force used in this teacher’s attempt to discipline a special needs child,” said attorney Paul Batrice on behalf of the student’s family. “There is no excuse for this type of behavior. Given this teacher’s alleged criminal history of domestic violence and the video footage that has shaken our community, we have started an investigation into this teacher and Hays CISD in the hopes of ensuring justice for this family and so that no Texas student ever endures such extreme behavior again.” What. On this side of the pond, few public figures are as popular and well-liked as Meghan Markle. But for reasons that defy explanation, many Brits don’t share our objectively-correct positive opinion of the former Suits star, Last month, a documentary about Meghan and Prince Harry’s trip to Africa made its television debut and offered a far more intmate look into the lives of the Royals than the public is accustomed to receiving. The doc came on the heels of Harry’s lawsuit against a handful of British media outlets whom he accused of bullying Meghan in their coverage. Brits and Americans reacted very differently to these developments. In the US, the couple was widely praised for their efforts to curb the more slanderous tendencies of the infamous British tabloid press. And while many, many UK citizens expressed their support for Meghan — including female members of parliament who did so with an open letter addressed to the Duchess — she was also received a fair amount of flak from prominent public figures who accused her of conduct unbecoming a royal. Some of these critics are easily dismissed — after all Piers Morgan attacks Megha n every chance he gets, seemingly because they had a drink together like a decade ago, and he thought they were gonna get married. But some of them have real clout and when they speak, and their opinions can’t be ignored. And it seems Queen Elizabeth II might be the most prominent of the Meghan skeptics. To be clear, the Queen has not breathed a word against Meghan publicly. In fact, she’s kept mum (Queen mum, if you will) about the Sussexes conflict with the media, as well as their unexpectedly candid documentary interviews. Nothing unusual there, as the Queen typically remains tight-lipped about family matters. But some royal watchers have suggested that when she looks at the events of 2019, the Queen sees Kate Middleton as a paragon of royal values, and she believes that Meghan could learn from Kate’s example. “The Queen is a fan,” a source close to the situation tells Vanity Fair. “Kate is unflappable. Her mantra is very like the Queen’s keep calm and carry on approach in life, and she has the added benefit of making the Royal Family seem almost normal and in touch.” Yes, unflappability is big in the Queen’s book. When Meghan remarked on the “stiff upper lip” mentality that’s so prized among the royals, many suspected she was subtly rebuffing instruction or advice she had received from her in-laws. We may never know if that’s true, but we do know that the Queen is not big on public displays of emotion. And when it comes to keeping a tight lid on her feelings, Kate has Meghan beat. Of course, Kate is British, and prior to becoming a duchess, she spent several years in close association with the royals as William’s girlfriend. She was groomed for this life in a way that Meghan simply wasn’t. But apparently, the Queen feels that Kate has Meghan bested in another area, as well. According to insiders, QE2 feels that Kate is more in touch with the common folk than Meghan, which comes as a surprise. After all, early in her relationship with Harry, Meg’s commoner status — Hollywoodn couldn’t get much further from Buckingham Palace, culturally or geographically — was often cited as the thing that made stodgy royal traditionalists most nervous. But these days, the Queen feels that her family has a public image issue — and she sees Kate as the person who can best demonstrate to her fellow Brits that the royals are people, too. “It feels very much like this has been Kate’s year,” biographer Claudia Joseph tells Vanity Fair. “She looks happy, in control and there’s a new confidence about her. I think Kate seems much happier than a year ago,” Josaph adds. “She has three lovely children, has been honored by the Queen for her hard work and is really well liked not just here but around the world.” Joseph says many of Kate’s recent activities — such as drinking in a pub with some of the parents of her kids’ classmates — have endeared her to a public that’s increasingly wary of the Royals. Tori Roloff has been unusually quiet over the past couple weeks. The Little People, Big World star has been so inactive on social media that we thought she may have had her baby early . Now, however, we can confirm two things about Tori… First, she had NOT had her second baby just yet. Second, she is NOT about to sit back and let some total loser talk trash about her over the Internet. Over the weekend, Tori was given no choice but to respond to a troll on Instagram who apparently looked at some photo of the 28-year old and wrote: “Girl, what happens [sic] with you, you’re so fat.” This pathetic loser then compared the reality TV star to another person whose name Roloff blocked out on her Instagram Story. We can only assume this individual is unaware Tori is nine months pregnant, which is no excuse for the awful thing he said to her anyway, of course. “Look at her, she’s son [sic] pretty and not so fat,” the critic continued, actually adding: “You should try to eat and live like her, look at u, u look so bad, big face, mug everything. Try to take care of yourself please.” It’s pretty astounding and extremely depressing that people such as this exist, wouldn’t you agree? “Try to be healthy for ur family, now ur gonna have 2 kids, give them a good example,” the person concluded, confirming that she managed to say all this while being aware Roloff is expecting. Not just expecting, either, but due any week now. Tori, who may just be the kindest person on the Internet, didn’t just brush off this remark or even try to make a joke out of it. Instead, Roloff replied in a lengthy caption, blasting the troll for sending the message. “I usually do not respond to ridiculousness like this, but what in the actual heck,” she wrote. “I can not believe women talk to other women like this. Calling me fat and unhealthy is the most disgusting thing ever. Comparing me to others is so detrimental.” That’s one word for it. We could think of a few others as well. “If you want me to be healthy for my family you should be lifting me up not tearing me down,” continued Roloff. “GTFO. I’m pregnant and myself and baby girl are healthy as can be.” Darn right, Tori! In a separate post, Roloff shared that she would continue treating her body the way she wants. “I’m only here to do me,” she also wrote. “And if that means eating a milkshake a day guess what? I’m here for it.” Finally, Roloff wrapped up her rant in a video where she explained why she decided to address the negative message. “I did not post that on my social media for me to say, like, ‘Oh, woe is me’ or ‘Feel sorry for me,’” Roloff said, adding: “I put that on my social media only to point out that’s never going to be acceptable on my social media. It should never be acceptable anywhere in the world for women to talk to other women like that.” Roloff concluded: “It’s just disgusting. Like, come on, we have better things to do than that. We’d add something to this, but… she handled it all perfectly. It is official. It is exciting. And it is potentially the end of the line for Kody Brown and company. Indeed, TLC has not only confirmed the return date for Sister Wives… it has also released an official synopsis for an upcoming season that does not look like it will lack for drama. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to those who have been following the constant rumors and tidbits surrounding this polarizing family. For example, Meri Brown continues to share cryptic messages on her Instagram account, prompting many to wonder whether she’s finally ready to leave the show . Then there are relatives of certain cast members who are urging them to walk away from Kody and his cult as soon and as quickly as possible. Will this topics be addressed on Season 14? Perhaps. But the description released late last week by TLC focuses far more on the Brown’s move from Las Vegas to Arizona and all the fallout that has come along with it. “The Sister Wives have just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they find that the ups and downs of their family’s polygamist lifestyle are as dramatic as they’ve ever been,” opens this synopsis. It then delves into the reception of those around the Browns in their new home state. Continued this synopsis: “Angry neighbors drive one wife out of her rental house and the cost of the many properties the family needs for Kody’s four wives and many kids are threatening a financial disaster. “In hopes of reducing this burden, Kody makes plans for the whole family to build one giant house, but the wives are not so sure.” It’s worth stopping here to examine such a preview, isn’t it? Kody moved his four wives — Christine, Meri, Robyn and Janelle — to Flagstaff at the conclusion of Season 13. We know that Christine purchased a home because she was unable to find a rental that would accommodate pets. We also know that Kody and Robyn have reportedly bought a giant home together . This means that either Janelle or Meri is the wife who was driven out of her rental home, although neither has made a reference to this awkward situation on social media or anything. Shall we continue with the spoiler-filled teaser? Okay. Here goes: An argument erupts when the Browns try to divide up their new property. Tensions with first wife, Meri, are still unresolved and she goes back into therapy with Kody to try to fix their relationship. Following last season, Kody did float the idea of having all of his four wives living together… before they ultimately found their separate places. Christine was probably as vocal as any of the women upon saying via Twitter that living under the same roof together was “not happening.” But it’s clear this will continue to be a sticking point on upcoming episodes of the long-running series. Not everything that is appropriate for adults is appropriate for children. Unfortunately, some people can get a little carried away. A thid party was selling T-shirts that read “Daddy’s Little Slut” on them, and they came in children’s sizes. The outrage was so intense that Amazon has banned the shirts from their site. Well, almost . The shirt, offered by OnlyBabyCare, was on sale for $18. TMZ reports that these shirts had been on sale on Amazon for months, dating back to June. They were originally listed for $36. The audacious Amazon page suggested the shirts for “playing outside, birthday party, baby shower, baptism, wedding, baby photography, daily wear, family day.” Projecting weird sex jokes onto children is just not appropriate — not for the child and not for anyone who reads what the shirt says. You know what is great without sexualizing anyone at all? Taking the things written on dog vests as warnings and putting them on T-shirts for humans. Everyone I know wants a shirt that reads “not keen on men” like in that one dog photo from Twitter.
On July 4, Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking her then-fiance, Andrew Glennon, with a machete. Amber has accepted a plea deal in order to avoid jail time, but she still denies that there was any sort of weapon involved in the attack. Now, however, YouTuber Katie Joy claims to have uncovered evidence that contradicts Portwood's claim. Throughout the ordeal, Joy has presented evidence of Amber's abuse that swayed the opinions of many fans – though it's worth noting that some of her claims have been called into question, and she has admitted that some of her content later proved to be inaccurate. With that knowledge, we'll leave it to you to determine what's going on here and just how egregious Amber's attack was. It's been a very, very busy time for Jenelle Evans these past few weeks. You know, what with filing for divorce from David Eason and all. She's left all her belongings behind to move herself and the two children she has custody of to a whole new state, she's gathered proof of David's abuse and filed a restraining order against him. All that sounds like a ton of work, even when you don't consider how taxing it all must have been emotionally for the Teen Mom 2 firebrand – whatever you think of her personally. But still, even though Jenelle's been doing all of that, she still found some time to spend with Nathan Griffith, the father of her middle child, Kaiser, and sworn enemy of David. Yes, really. Let's get into it. 1. Jenelle and Nathan Okay, so yeah, this isn’t a current picture of Jenelle and Nathan … because there aren’t many. They haven’t had the opportunity to take a photo together for the past few years because their breakup was pretty messy, and because David is the worst. 2. Gross Jenelle and David first started dating like a month after she and Nathan broke off their engagement and relationship, and it seems like David’s always been super insecure about that, to the point where Jenelle simply wasn’t allowed to speak with him. 3. Ridiculous and Terrifying We’ll never forget an early appearance of David Eason on Teen Mom 2 where he went with Jenelle to meet with Nathan to discuss custody stuff … he was so mad that he threatened to “fill this whole street with uppercut.” Yes, that happened. 4. So Immature Shortly after that, he decided that Jenelle wasn’t allowed to communicate directly with Nathan, even though she shared a small child with him. Instead, he’d be the one to deal with Nathan when it came to Kaiser. 5. Poor Kaiser And speaking of Kaiser, many fans believe that David was allegedly abusive towards him because he does look so much like his dad — more on all that in just a moment though. 6.
