Welp. This is one way to make folks believe you’re totally and completely over Khloe Kardashian: Lamar Odom has proposed to girlfriend Sabrina Parr! And she has said yes, you guys! On Monday, Odom announced his unexpected engagement via a romantic Instagram photo of the soon-to-be married couple posing together inside Prime 112 Restaurant in Miami. “Introducing my new fiancée!! Soon to be Mrs. Parr-Odom,” Odom captioned the post adding very simply and sweetly: “She the ONE!!!!! @getuptoparr.” As you can see above, Parr is wearing her engagement ring in the picture, while Odom is wearing a surprisingly sullen expression, considering the occasion. For her part, Parr also shared a video on social media, coming across as rather excited about the entire development. “I SAID YES!!!!!!” she captioned this post on Instagram on Monday, showing off her ring in a video and two photos as they dined at this same restaurant. Parr added the hashtags #mrsparrodom and #lamarandsabrina. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes commented on the post, writing as a remark: “SO GLAD I COULD BE HERE WIT YOU! LOVE BOTH OF YOU AND PRAYING OVER THIS UNION.” Odom, of course, is a former professional basketball player who battled substance abuse problems throughout nearly his whole career. He nearly died from an overdose while partying with hookers in Nevada back in 2015. Tiffani Shadell Lankford, 32, is charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault after she punched and stomped on the head of a student during class. Cellphone footage shows the violent altercation between the teacher and the pupil that took place at Kyle, Texas’ Lehman High School. ABC 13 reports that a student in the class said Lankford became agitated at the Spanish class and eventually closed in on the victim. There are other angles of the viral video showing the student hitting the teacher first. The local school district said Lankford passed a background check when they hired her in August, added that “there is absolutely no excuse or circumstance that can justify what you see unfold on the video.” The student’s family has obtained legal counsel so presumably, a lawsuit is forthcoming. “We are shocked and disgusted after seeing the abuse and excessive force used in this teacher’s attempt to discipline a special needs child,” said attorney Paul Batrice on behalf of the student’s family. “There is no excuse for this type of behavior. Given this teacher’s alleged criminal history of domestic violence and the video footage that has shaken our community, we have started an investigation into this teacher and Hays CISD in the hopes of ensuring justice for this family and so that no Texas student ever endures such extreme behavior again.” What. It is official. It is exciting. And it is potentially the end of the line for Kody Brown and company. Indeed, TLC has not only confirmed the return date for Sister Wives… it has also released an official synopsis for an upcoming season that does not look like it will lack for drama. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to those who have been following the constant rumors and tidbits surrounding this polarizing family. For example, Meri Brown continues to share cryptic messages on her Instagram account, prompting many to wonder whether she’s finally ready to leave the show . Then there are relatives of certain cast members who are urging them to walk away from Kody and his cult as soon and as quickly as possible. Will this topics be addressed on Season 14? Perhaps. But the description released late last week by TLC focuses far more on the Brown’s move from Las Vegas to Arizona and all the fallout that has come along with it. “The Sister Wives have just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they find that the ups and downs of their family’s polygamist lifestyle are as dramatic as they’ve ever been,” opens this synopsis. It then delves into the reception of those around the Browns in their new home state. Continued this synopsis: “Angry neighbors drive one wife out of her rental house and the cost of the many properties the family needs for Kody’s four wives and many kids are threatening a financial disaster. “In hopes of reducing this burden, Kody makes plans for the whole family to build one giant house, but the wives are not so sure.” It’s worth stopping here to examine such a preview, isn’t it? Kody moved his four wives — Christine, Meri, Robyn and Janelle — to Flagstaff at the conclusion of Season 13. We know that Christine purchased a home because she was unable to find a rental that would accommodate pets. We also know that Kody and Robyn have reportedly bought a giant home together . This means that either Janelle or Meri is the wife who was driven out of her rental home, although neither has made a reference to this awkward situation on social media or anything. Shall we continue with the spoiler-filled teaser? Okay. Here goes: An argument erupts when the Browns try to divide up their new property. Tensions with first wife, Meri, are still unresolved and she goes back into therapy with Kody to try to fix their relationship. Following last season, Kody did float the idea of having all of his four wives living together… before they ultimately found their separate places. Christine was probably as vocal as any of the women upon saying via Twitter that living under the same roof together was “not happening.” But it’s clear this will continue to be a sticking point on upcoming episodes of the long-running series.
