The singer who said she’s ditching the music industry after she ends her current tour was blasted on social media this weekend by a disgruntled fan. According to the woman she shelled out good money to see the “CPR” songstress during a meet & greet but only met her “literally for five seconds.” The fan ranted and told the singer she’ll no longer support her career and remarked that Summer “doesn’t deserve” her fanbase. “Such an anticlimactic and disappointing experience meeting Summer Walker yesterday,” wrote the fan. “We were informed to have our phones out, ready with flash, and not to sit too close or touch her. She barely spoke to anyone, every couple people she’d say ‘Hi’. It was a big hurt piece for me because I really idolised her and her work. Summer, you lost a big fan. I’m glad this is your first and last tour. You don’t deserve us!” OUCH. Summer caught word of the rant and she responded on Instagram with a looooooong post explaining why she doesn’t give out hugs. You know things have gotten bad when even Farrah Abraham is looking at you with pity in her eyes. But when Abraham offers words of sympathy and support for Jenelle Evans, they're well-deserved. As you've likely heard, Jenelle has filed for divorce from David Eason amid abuse allegations. And now, it seems she's found an unlikely ally in fellow disgraced Teen Mom alum Farrah. Of course, Farrah being Farrah, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to throw a little shade at her ex-rival when commenting on the situation this week. Take a look: 1. Better Days It wasn’t all that long ago that Farrah and Jenelle were both raking in six-figure salaries thanks to their cushy gigs at MTV. Both ladies also supplemented their income with side ventures such as sponsored content partnerships. 2. Hard Times These days, however, both moms are out of work and increasingly desperate for cash. Farrah was the first to be let go, having been fired from the network back in December of 2017. 3. An Interesting Career Path MTV execs justified the decision by claiming that Farrah had violated her contract by continuing to perform in adult webcam shows. But in reality, they were probably just sick of dealing with her diva nonsense. 4. The Nugget Affair Jenelle was next to get canned. And her termination took place under even more bizarre circumstances. The situation involved the death of a beloved pet at the hands of Evans’ famously short-tempered husband. 5. Devastation David shot and killed Jenelle’s French bull dog, Nugget. The act of senseless violence led to a CPS investigation that caused her to temporarily lose custody of her children. 6. Disney Plus launched in the wee hours of Tuesday morning! There were plenty of good reaosns to sign up for the streaming service. In my case, they had me at “new Clone Wars episodes.” Those aren't out yet, of course. What is out is The Mandalorian , whose first episode went live at launch. To say that the first episode was “good” does not do it justice. Check out our review (and carefully crafted gifs) below and see if Disney's live-action Star Wars series sounds like a hit or miss. We promise that we've only included minor spoilers. 1. It’s a Space Western Usually, that would be a critique, but Star Wars has always had strong Western vibes, though that has never been exclusive. Environments like the cantina at Mos Eisley Spaceport on Tattooine are basically saloons, and in his first scene, the titular Mandalorian might as well have pushed through a pair of saloon doors. 2. It FEELS like Star Wars We’ll talk about this more once we get into the gifs, but this show really feels like it’s part of the broader Star Wars canon in a way that the Sequel films, for many fans, have not. The vibe here is definitely more Rorgue One, and that’s exactly how it should be. 3. Aliens are back! Anyone else notice how there are almost no new Alien roles in the Sequel films? (Holdo should have been a Theelin; fight me, Rian Johnson) Well that last slide showed a Quarren, a classic Star Wars species who share a homeworld, Mon Cala, with Admiral Akbar’s species. And then there’s this dude, an Alien with an extended speaking role. 4. Yes, there are monsters A huge part of Star Wars has been the existence of terrestrial perils unrelated to evil generals or Sith Lords or whatever the heck a Ren is. From “Sand People” to wampas to giant worms that live in asteroids, sometimes planets just have monsters on them. The Mandalorian knows this and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 5. It’s a BEAUTIFUL show This particular beast looks like a blend of a walrus and a hippopotamus, and we learn that it’s attracted to the spaceport area because ships dump their gray cargo — that is, their organic waste — which attracts a whole food chain of critters. Also, it just looks great. Shows need good budgets to be viable, and we’re glad that this show delivers. 6. The Mandalorian isn’t all action The titular character has some serious childhood traumas — including an apparent aversion to droids, but one that is not absolute. He also has tremendous respect for Mandalorian culture and traditions, many of which were nearly lost when the Empire (at first, the Republic) invaded Mandalore to oppose Maul’s faction of Death Watch. Okay, fine, perhaps we can all just admit to the production of many tears, considering the amazing news that has now been confirmed about Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson: They are first-time parents! “After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the famous couple revealed to Us Weekly on Monday afternoon. They added in this special exclusive: “When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro all the pain instantly went away. “We can’t believe she is ours – she is so perfect!” “She definitely has lived up to her name which means, ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!” In a subsequent Instagram post, Lauren and Josiah announced the news themselves, informing followers of their newborn’s full name, along with her date and time of birth: Look who’s here! Bella Milagro Duggar was born November 8th, 2019 at 4:24 pm, weighing 6lbs 5oz and 18.5 inches long. Our hearts are so full! We are so thankful for God blessings us with such a healthy baby girl! Oh, and they included this photo! Yup. She’s perfect. The little one came into this world at 6 pounds and 5 ounces, measuring 18.5 inches in length. Her arrivial would be a miracle and a blessing under any circumstance, of course. But the Counting On stars suffered a tragic miscarriage late last year. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren said in a clip posted by TLC in February 2019. Said Josh in this same piece of heartbreaking footage: “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.” The pair said they to tell their story because “nobody really talks about it,” Lauren explained. “We just wanted to let y’all know that you’re not alone.” Simply devastating. In May, though, the reality stars took fans by tremendous surprise when they announced Lauren was pregnant for the second time. “We are so excited to announce that baby No. 2 is on the way!!!!” they shared on Instagram, adding at the time: “It’s hard to fully express just how grateful we are for God blessing us again with another precious gift! “So, as we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven.” “God is so incredibly good!” As recently as October 10, Josiah and Lauren were still paying tribute to the child they lost and to all the other children that have been lost in this heartbreaking manner. “Sending love this month to any parent who has lost a baby,” they wrote on Instagram, continuing as follows: “Losing a little life at any stage is heartbreaking and devastating and should not go unnoticed.” “For all you mamas, yes, even you mamas who’s arms have never had the chance to hold your babies-you’re a Mama! Remember, that you are loved. “You are a warrior. You are not alone. You are not forgotten.” The TLC personalities, who got married in July of 2018, aren’t the only Duggars to have welcomed a baby girl this year. Shocking and truly awful news from the entertainment industry this weekend: Laurel Griggs, an up-and-coming Broadway actress who also appeared twice on Saturday Night Live, died back on November 5. She was 13 years old. At this time, it’s unknown what the cause of her death was, although, a funeral service was held on November 8, according her Dignity Memorial page. Griggs made her Broadway debut in 2013 at age six as Polly in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She’s best known for her role in ONCE opposite Scarlett Johansson, which she performed for 17 months between 2013 and 2015. The play earned a Tony Award. Griggs also starred in the 2016 film Café Society, which also featured Steve Carell, Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively to name a few major names. Moreover, she appeared on Saturday Night Live on two separate occasions. Actress Eliza Holland Madore, who portrayed Ivanka in ONCE expressed her devastation as follows: “I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of my Ivanka sisters. Laurel – you were always smiling and always made other people laugh.” She continued: I’m so incredibly grateful that I got to know you. You will never be forgotten, and we will never stop loving you. Everybody in the Once Family is going to keep you alive through us. R.I.P. My heart goes to her family. Following news of Griggs’ passing, Young Broadway’s Twitter account shared a tribute to the rising star: We are saddened to share that Laurel Griggs passed away this week at the age of 13. Laurel was a brilliant young lady who appeared on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Once. We send our condolences to her loved ones at this difficult time. UPDATE : A Facebook account appearing to belong to Griggs’ grandfather says that the young actress died of a massive asthma attack. “The world lost a real princess who only wanted to make the future happy for all,” this grandfather, David Rivlin, said adding: “Acting was a just a childhood dream come true and she had big plans for the future.” Laurel Griggs, seen here on Saturdya Night Live, has passed away at 13. Gotti addressed the situation directly with Williams live on her show, saying: “Ashanti is not a homewrecker, guys,” he went on. “Ashanti had nothing to do with me and Deb. Deb caught me when I was directing ‘I Cry’ in Baltimore. Deb, being the vicious person she is, she came down unannounced, ‘I’m Mrs. Lorenzo, give me the room key.’ The door was latched, but she knows I’m in there. That’s what broke me and Deb up.” Irv went on to say he and Deb had been separated and added that Williams didn’t want to be hypocritical seeing as how she had been out in these skreets zippin’ and zooin’ before finalizing her own divorce.
