Somewhere along the line, we lost our way – as far as us connecting as lovers – but I will always hold that woman down for the rest of my life until I have no motherf*ckin’ breath left in my lungs.” SEE ALSO: Wale Gives Fans Glimpse Into What It’s Like To Live With Social Anxiety He then paused and had choice words for anyone who is out here slandering his current love, India. “Now, you say ‘that model chick.’ By the grace of God, I don’t ever want those words to leave your lips again like that, ’cause that ain’t no model chick. That’s a special human being that came in my life, taught me about affirmations, taught me how to love better, taught me how to be positive…so when we talk about model chick, you’re severely underplaying…” SEE ALSO: Wale Calls Out Writers After ‘GQ’ Article Disrespects Him, Twitter Debate Ensues He continued by saying that the fact she takes pictures for checks does not diminish her intellect and value. “So whether that’s my girlfriend or not- that model chick, that woman’s beautiful inside and out. That woman taught me so much about myself. And model chick’s disgustingly underplaying what she really is. She is a smart, beautiful, motivating Black woman. Source: Kevin Rawls / Radio One Digital In 2019 rapper Megan Thee Stallion has had nothing but monumental wins from top hits to a successful tour to the campaign of women empowerment through “Hot Girl Summer.” But the Houston based rapper suffered the biggest loss earlier this year when her momager Holly Thomas died from a cancerous brain tumor in March. Want Exclusives First? Click Here To Sign Up For Our Newsletter! On Tuesday the rapper posted a loving tribute to her mom, a woman whom many of her successes would not have been possible. “Damn I miss my mama, all we did was crack jokes all day she is the only person that could make me cry laughing,” she wrote. “I be feeling so lost without her but I try my best to keep my s–t on track how she would.” View this post on Instagram Damn I miss my mama, all we did was crack jokes all day she is the only person that could make me cry laughing. In an interview with ESSENCE , Meg told the outlet that she credits her mother for her love of music and hip-hop. “I knew I wanted to be a rapper when I was, like, 5,” Megan said. “My mom was a rapper. I would go to the studio with her, and that definitely showed me I can do this. I wanna do this. I remember my first time ever listening to rappers like Pimp C and Biggie, and being like, ‘All this would sound super cool if a girl was saying it,’ so I gotta go do this.” In a separate interview with Durtty Daily a month after her mother’s death, she called her mom her Number 1 supporter. And while we all grieve differently, it seems that Meg has used her work ethic to elevate her success and in turn, it’s undeniable that her mom is proud and smiling down on her. Wale, 35 and India Graham , 22, have been displaying their affinity for each other all over social media and fans have been asking questions about his new bae online. Monday night will show part one of the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell All special . Avery Mills is getting ahead of whatever is about to air by offering a vigorous, if somewhat unhinged, defense of her husband, Omar Albakour. Is she right? Is she a little bonkers? It's possible that both are true. Take a look: “Okay,” Avery begins a series of Instagram Story videos. “I do have to say something.” “I don't usually respond to any comments,” she admits. “But I hate when people say Omar is controlling.” “I'm sorry,” Avery says sarcastically. “But Omar asking me not to dance in the streets because it's not normal is not being controlling.” “To be honest,” she continues. “People have their preferences. If he doesn't want me dancing in the streets …” She then zooms in on her face, saying to trust her, that, they “do enough dancing at home.” “For two,” Avery continues in a subsequent video shared to her Instagram Story. “For someone to say that Omar does not love me,” she insists. “Does not know Omar.” Avery expresses: “He is the most loving person, ever.” She then suggests that she may be able to zero in on exactly what makes some viewers so suspicious of Omar. “Yeah,” she admits. “He's shy.” “He's shy when he's getting recorded for international TV shows,” Avery points out. “I bet a lot of people would be more shy, too,” she predicts. But Avery has moe to say than just defending Omar's demeanor and what some saw as controlling behavior. She also takes the opportunity to sing her man's praises. “You know,” she says. “Get you a man who sings … to you.” Avery also recommends a man “that plays with your hair any time.” “That spoils you,” she continues. “With love, with, you know, anything that you want.” “Get you someone who will protect you at all costs,” Avery suggests. “And maybe,” she says up close to the camera. “You'll know how much Omar loves me.” “And last but not least,” Avery concludes. “If you don't like me,” she says, while facing off screen. “Then that's a personal problem.” Throughout the entire video, she is going out of her way to emote more than necessary. For dramatic effect, she moves the camera close to and away from her face at odd moments. The effect of her Instagram Stories, whether you agree with her message or not, is unlikely to impress. If you're wondering why Avery comes across as a little batty and immature here, keep in mind that she's, well, 19. Maybe 20. And while she's certainly not too young to choose her religious faith, her age has brought up other concerns. She may be an adult, but how young is too young to get married? Most people feel that 19 qualifies. That said, some critics of her romance with Omar have less to do with maturity concerns and more to do with straight-up Islamophobia. Fans of the couple will be pleased to know that it appears that the two are still married. We'll know more on Monday night's Tell All, Part 1.
Well, it finally happened. After months of appealing his deportation ruling, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice has been shipped off to Italy . Insiders say Joe plans to continue fighting for his right to live in America, but from now on, he’ll be waging that battle from his new home in Naples. Joe doesn’t speak Italian, and doesn’t know anyone in Italy, so it won’t be easy for him to build a new life for himself in the country of his birth. Fortunately, he won’t be undertaking the task entirely on his own. Joe was met in Italy by his mother and brother, who set up a home for him in preparation for his arrival. Throughout the ordeal of his imprisonment and subsequent detainment by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Joe repeatedly stated that the worst part was being separated from his four daughters. So he must have been overjoyed by the news that the girls will be visiting him in Naples. Gia announced the visit on Instagram over the weekend. The 18-year-old college student (above) posted this photo of Joe and his brother (below), along with a caption reading: “So happy your together right now.. enjoy see you in a few weeks daddy.” And it seems the girls won’t be making their transcontinental journey alone. Insiders say Teresa Giudice will be traveling to Italy in the very near future – but it seems she’s not motivated purely by her love for Joe. According to a new report from Radar Online, Teresa will receive a massive bonus from Bravo for going to Naples and filming for TV. That’s right, she’s driven strongly by the appeal of the almighty dollar. Gotta reunite on The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Joe! The trip across the Atlantic has the potential to be intensely awkward for a number of reasons, if you stop and think about it. For starters, it’s been made clear that Teresa still plans to divorce Joe and has already been dating a much younger man named Blake Schreck. On top of that, it seems that both Joe and his family would prefer that Teresa simply stay home in the Garden State. “Joe’s mom and brother have told him that Teresa should not be allowed to see him in Italy,” one insider tells Radar. “They have talked to him about the cheating claims, and how she hasn’t respected him at all since he was locked up,” the insider adds. Apparently, Joe’s mother and brother basically held an anti-Teresa intervention, and it’s beginning to have the desired effect on Joe: “Joe’s mom and brother have hammered him on his terrible relationship with his wife,” the celebrity gossip site’s insider claims. “They do not like Teresa at all, and they don’t think she should come to Italy when she hardly ever went to prison to see him.” It’s hard to believe that Joe would still want Teresa to visit him overseas now that she’s got one foot out the door. Or both. View Slideshow: Teresa Giudice: Filing For Divorce Once Joe Gets Deported?! She’s essentially confirmed that she was u8nfaithful during his time in prison and is now banging someone else. Kinda savage. Of course, it’s possible that the taping could mean big Bravo bucks for Joe, as well – and, well, from the way things sound … Guy could use all the help he can get these days. #justsayin
Lee Rosbach has spoken out for the first time about every parent’s worst nightmare. The Below Deck star has given an interview in which he discusses the death of his son, Joshua . As reported in July, the ship captain and reality star lost this child to an accidental overdose just a few months ago. And, as you might obviously expect, Rosbach is still dealing with unimaginable pain in regard to the tragedy. “I deal with it every day. I hate going to sleep, and I hate waking up. There’s a hole there that can’t be filled,” the Below Deck star told the New York Post’s Page Six on Saturday, October 12. He continued, holding nothing back: “And the person who said, ‘time heals all wounds,’ is full of it. It doesn’t. The only thing that time may do for you is allow you to learn the skills you need to cope with the situation that you’re dealing with. “As parents, you’re not designed to bury your children.” Joshua battled addiction for over 20 years prior to his passing. He was found dead this summer at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lee, horrifically, was the person who found his son’s body. “I walked in and he was sitting on the sofa with his head in his hands, and I thought he had just passed out. I felt relieved. I thought he was fine,” Lee told the publication , adding: “Then I went over to give him a hug, and he was cold. He’d gone.” Just incomprehensible all around. Despite his son’s aforementioned substance abuse issues, the reality TV personality added that he thought Josh was doing well before his untimely passing. “He had a DUI conviction about 12 or 13 years ago that he finally got off his record. He’d got himself a car. He was working,” said Rosbach. “We thought we might have hit a milestone.” Lee went on to note how he and his family (the captain has four other children) aren’t alone; thousands of people are lost to drug addiction every year. He plans to help fight the opioid epidemic, but is still searching for the right opportunity: “I don’t want to start something, then not be able to finish it,” Rosbach says. Joshua had been off painkillers and heroin for about six months when he died. Medical examiners told the family that Josh had relapsed and bought pills that appeared to be prescription opioids … but were in fact counterfeits, laced with five different substances including cocaine, heroin and the incredibly powerful, lethal drug Fentanyl. “There’s a lot of guilt that comes with something like this. What if I’d gone over to his house sooner? What if I’d done this? What if I’d done that? I should have made his life easier,” Lee said. “So you carry around a tremendous amount of guilt. And then you have to stop and realize that you can’t prevent the inevitable.” We send our very best wishes to Lee Rosbach and his loved ones. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
This is Atatiana Jefferson. She was 28 yrs old, a graduate of Xavier Univ. and lived w/ her nephew. A Fort Worth, TX cop shot and killed her thru her window as she stood peacefully and unarmed in her own home. Black people are subject to deadly force even when they stay home. pic.twitter.com/09dA2nl3v5 — Kristen Clarke (@KristenClarkeJD) October 13, 2019 Atatiana Jefferson Killed By White Police Officer In Her Home The death of a black woman minding her business in her home before being killed by police is causing Botham Jean comparisons. Atatiana Koquice Jefferson, 28, died Saturday after a Forth Worth, Texas officer opened fire on her inside her house. NBC Dallas-Forth Worth reports that a neighbor called the police to report that Jefferson’s door was open. An officer who arrived on the scene peered into Atatiana’s window and spotted her and yelled, “Put your hands up — show me your hands,” before opening fire and shooting her. The young woman was shot once and although aid was rendered she was pronounced dead. The officer who killed Atatiana has yet to be identified but authorities tell NBC he’s on administrative leave pending an investigation. He’s also been confirmed as white. Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price released a statement on the shooting. “Writing a statement like this is tragic and something that should never be necessary. A young woman has lost her life, leaving her family in unbelievable grief. All of Fort Worth must surround Atatiana Jefferson’s family with prayers, love and support,” Price said. Mayor Price has promised a “complete and thorough investigation” to be conducted by Police Chief Ed Kraus, which will then be forwarded to the Tarrant County District Attorney Law Enforcement Incident Team. This is so incredibly tragic and sad. We’re thinking of the family and friends of Atatiana who lost their loved one for absolutely no reason.

After eight long months on the inside, Mike Sorrentino was released from prison on September 12. And as anyone who’s been watching recent episodes of Jersey Shore knows — Mike’s absence has been keenly felt on the show. (How many more scenes in that Vegas hotel suite will be forced to endure?!) But if you’re among the many viewers who have lately found themselves missing the old guido group dynamic, fear not: The Sitch is back, and he’s ready to bring the heat with some spicy stories from his time in the clink. Sorrentino appeared on Snooki’s podcast this week, and in addition to weighing in on the latest drama involving his housemates, he opened up about life in prison and the joys of his newfound freedom. Mike began by confirming the obvious — the top item on his post-prison agenda was smushing with his wife, Lauren Pesce . After that, it was right back to making that green: “I feel fantastic,” Mike told Snooki. “I’ve lost 40 pounds in this process. I’m back reunited with my beautiful wife. “And working on the No. 1 TV show on MTV! I’m very grateful and just taking advantage of every moment, every conversation, every meal and just living my best life.” (Some possible shade directed at the ladies of Teen Mom there? We love it!) “When I first got home, all I wanted to do was spend time with my beautiful wife. I wanted to have a naked pizza party,” Sorrentino continued. “I wanted to watch movies. I wanted to watch ‘Avengers.’ I wanted to watch ‘Game of Thrones.’ I had to catch up on all that TV. I wanted to snuggle with my dog.” Unfortunately, his binge-watching was short-lived, as producers recognized the need to film Mike in his first days as a free man in order to maximize the drama: “And then the producers of MTV were like, ‘Listen, we need to get you in there ASAP,'” The Sitch went on. “So I pretty much took the ball and started to run with it immediately,” he explained. “I started working the day I came out. I saw you guys the next day, and then I think I moved in a couple days later.” “I was mentally ready, but at the same time, I was like, ‘Alright, this is my job. It’s time to man up. It’s time to rise to the occasion.’ Get that shmoney! I missed out on eight months. I wasn’t doing projects for eight months.” As for his experience on the inside, Mike says he benefitted from fame and was well-liked by his fellow inmates. (“I got all the extra food all the time!”) He confirmed the rumors that be befriended infamous Fyre Fest organizer Billy MacFarland and revealed that MacFarland was less than a model prisoner. “He supposedly smuggled in some sort of recording device, and he was caught with it,” Mike claimed. “They said he was trying to record high-profile inmates, and they threw him in the SHU. They sent him to a worse prison, I think, recently. That’s a bonehead move right there. And that’s not the only famous face who served time alongside The Sitch. Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is currently in prison for crimes related to payouts made to Stormy Daniels , and it seems his time at Otisville Correctional overlapped with Mike’s. And like the president, Sorrentino enjoyed demanding risky favors of Cohen: “I went up to him the first day, and he was a bit nervous, and I thought to myself, you know what? I’m gonna ask him to go sneak me some chicken out of the main line. It’s his first day,” Mike recalled. “I went up to Michael Cohen, and I said, ‘Listen, Michael Cohen.’ I’m there for like three-four months, I’m like, ‘Listen, bro, I’m gonna need you to do something for me.’ He said, ‘What is it, Mike? Anything!’ I said, ‘I’m gonna need you to go in main line. It’s your first day here. No one knows. I’m gonna need you to smuggle chicken from the main line and give it to me. I’m gonna hide it in my locker so that I can have an extra serving after my workout.'” Sadly, Mike says Cohen “chickened out” and didn’t go through with the meat heist. If only he’d shown that kind of backbone the last time a reality TV asked him to engage in some sketchy behavior! All-in-all Mike says his time behind bars was deeply unpleasant but not nearly as bad as it could have been due to his celebrity status: “I was blessed to shoot a lot of TV before I went into prison, so while I was in prison, I was on TV every Thursday with a smile on my face,” he said. “Like, ‘Oh, look, there’s my wedding!’ But I missed out on a lot of money from being in prison for eight months.” As for the work he was expected to perform, well … fame goes a long way with the masses, even behind bars. “I’ll be honest,” Mike said, “there was a guy in prison that did my job for me.” Hey, we’re just glad he’s back to his real job — stuffing his face and spouting inspirational cliches on television!
