Your subliminal shots don’t mean sh-t if you can’t @ me,” reads the start of her message, a caption of a photo of her brother side by side with an emoji with the message “I’m a Scorpio.” That was just the very first sip of the team. You know it was really because she used Fab’s (born John David Jackson) first name. She continued, “We are done in reality and I won’t front for the gram or any other app. Fuck you! John. Go ban all the rest of the people that post up about you, you won’t be able to stop the blogs IDIOT.” Well damn. Although it isn’t clear what cause this epic fallout, she wrote they are “beyond reconciliation.” Reportedly, Fab attended his niece’s graduation despite not speaking to her mother (his sister). Exclusive: 13-Year-Old Star Kyliegh Curran Gets Her “Shine” On In “Doctor Sleep”

Source: Photo by GP Images/Getty Images for Warner Bros. Canad Exclusive Kyliegh Curran Interview At only 13, “Doctor Sleep” star Kyliegh Curran is set to become an instant Horror icon with her dazzling performance in the long-awaited, highly anticipated sequel to Stephen King’s quintessential classic “The Shining.” She plays adorably spunky wonder kid “Abra Stone” who “shines” like the all-grown-up-and-liquored-up “Danny Torrance” (Ewan McGregor) who’s desperate to piece together his shattered life years after his psychotic pop went axe-crazy at the Stanley Hotel. Together, they battle a sinister (and strangely snazzy) evil in mind-bending scenes carried entirely by our new fave 8th grader who gushed about her spooky debut in a cackle-filled interview at the very creepy and very haunted Highland Inn in midtown Atlanta. (But first, check out the trailer if you haven’t already) Did you see the original (“The Shining”)? “Yes, four times!” How did that go? Well, I watched the first time right before the call back, actually, and I remember (laughs) my mom said, ‘No! I am not going to watch that with you’ and I was hiding behind my dad’s back the whole time because the suspense was just so sickening because you are just waiting for the first jump scare — and then BANG! When the title card hits you, it’s like a drug. Then the second time was at a special showing, the third time was for fun with my best friend Jerry, and then the fourth time was at a movie theater with my family. Really? This movie is not funny (nervous laugh) “Well, in some moments it can be so scary that you have to laugh. If you don’t laugh, then you will cry.” This movie is old, though. It’s older than both of us. So, what’s the difference between watching it and knowing it’s old versus making the movie that you’re making now. The graphics… it’s kind of grainy . “Well I drew a lot from both, mostly Wendy’s character and young Jenny. And then a lot from the book — mostly from the book because this is a standalone film and it’s just the adaptation of the book, but yea, I drew a lot from Wendy’s character definitely and watching it really helped me out.” You said you auditioned. How did that go? Bring me to the beginning? “Well, I was fresh out of summer camp and I got this 10-page long, thick, thick, thick audition and I barely had any time to get it done. So, I wasn’t even off-book. We just taped it and sent it in and I was not very confident. I did not think I was gonna get a call back. Then a month later I got a call back! And I spent two days with my acting coach perfecting the character we drew as much as we could. But, it was a pretty big script so we did the best we could. We sent it in. I felt much better about it and a week later Mr. Mike, the director, calls my mom and says ‘Hey! We would love Kyleigh to come and read with Mr. Ewan.’ Oh my gosh, the nerves just started building up and building up and building up like a tower, and I was doing this weird twitch thing. Oh, it was so nerve-racking! But when I walked in to the room, all my nerves just melted away because the people were so kind and chill and just laid back. Ugh, they’re so amazing and I read with Mr. Ewan and I hoped that what I did was enough to book the role. And, I was sitting in school one day — my mom had been working in the same school as me — and she came knocking on the door and my teacher said ‘Hey, your mom’s at the door!’ Oh, I got so nervous. I said to myself ‘Ok, this is a yes or a no. This is very nerve-racking but don’t fret.’ And so I walked out and my mom said ‘Kylie, you’re gonna be in the movie!’ And we were jumping all over the place, screaming ‘Oh my gosh, yes!’ And my classmates were just pressed up against the window, like ‘What is she doing?’ And when I walked back I had messy hair, my face was all red, I was sweating and I couldn’t tell anyone. I felt so proud of myself in that moment. I was like ‘Finally, you waited for this for so long and your hard work has paid off. Yay!” For so long? You’re only 13. “Well, since I was 7. I’d been auditioning and auditioning and it’s really a test to your confidence and your patience and self-esteem when you keep getting ‘no,’ getting so close in an audition and then losing it. It’s really just kind of depressing. But, then, once you book something it’s like this wave of relief and you feel so much better.” I feel it. I’m excited. I’m about to go audition for something… I don’t know what it’s going to be. So, working with Mr. Ewan, how was that? “He’s amazing. He’s like a big teddy bear. He’s so great to talk to and he’s a great listener and I really enjoyed working with him. Watching him work is fascinating, how he just takes on his character so seamlessly. It’s amazing. And, he’s also very good at chess. I would not challenge him in chess.” What did you learn from him? What’s the #1 thing? “Well, his guidance was probably watching him, definitely mirroring how he acts, and building a relationship out of the characters really helped us build a relationship WITH our characters — how our chemistry worked.” What was the spookiest part about making this? Were you actually ever scared making this? “No. I was mostly just excited. I kept living in the moment, kept thinking ‘Wow, this is super exciting. This is so amazing.’ But I also had a little bit of a tether, so I was able to pull myself back down to my character and not completely freak out. But, yeah, it wasn’t very scary. It was more of an exciting experience.” It’s funny that you say that because this movie is — “Terrifying. Yeah.” Now, Stephen King. Did you read the book? “Yes.” And how did that go? “Oh it was disturbing. I had nightmares for days. But I was able to just leave it at the door, drop it, and just keep working. I’m really happy I did because now I’ve got a grip on how horribly evil the True Knot are and how Abra projects her energy against them, how she feels about them, and that really helped me with chemistry with everyone and how Abra is. So, I’m very happy that I read the book but I’m also very upset that I did (laughs).” If you’re going to do roles in the future, would you read the book or would you just go off of the script. “It depends on what the book is about. If it’s something super iconic, then I’ve gotta read the book. If it’s something that maybe it’s more a new movie and it’s slightly off a book, then I’d probably just go off the script so I don’t completely go off the book. And, if it’s a remake of an old movie, I probably wouldn’t watch the old movie so I wouldn’t copy or mirror the person I’m playing.” And as far as scary movies, you said your mom didn’t want to watch “The Shining” with you, so do you watch scary movies like that? “Yes! I love Jordan Peele! He’s a genius! I love Horror movies. I watched a lot of the old Stephen King ones. I watched “Carrie,” I watched “Pet Sematary,” “The Shining.” “Carrie” was, whew, that was freaky. “Pet Sematary,” the newer one was pretty disturbing.” You’re only 13 though… (Laughs). I couldn’t even watch these movies until I was 17. What else? Was that it? “There’s a lot of things I can’t even remember. Oh, It! I love It so much. My favorite Stephen King movies, those were amazing.” You’re not scared of clowns? “Nope. They’re funny. Well, I mean I did not appreciate Pennywise eating children. So that was definitely… I did not like that, no one would like that. But when he was shaking his head around I couldn’t stop thinking about my sisters or me shaking my head around in white face paint and a red nose like ‘bahhhh!’ It was too funny to me. But, it was also so disturbing.” You’re about to be a star. How does that feel? Your classmates know that you’re in the movie now. “Well, I’m homeschooled. But I never really thought about being a star or anything. I just thought ‘Wow this is a really cool experience. I’m in a movie. This is super cool. This is super exciting.” It hasn’t hit you yet? “No, not really. It hadn’t hit me that this was such a huge movie until August and now I’m super nervous, but being a star never really hit my head.” OK, I’ll check back in two weeks. “Well, we’ll see (laughs).” If you could use your power in real life, would you use it for good or bad? “For both. I would cast hexes and be a little vengeful, sometimes, towards my sister’s enemies and then towards my enemies maybe. And then for good, I would eradicate all single-use plastics and multiple things. Just grab them all in a ball and incinerate them.” — “Doctor Sleep” scares its way into theaters this weekend!

Meri Brown is About to Leave Kody, Polygamy Expert Predicts

FACT: Meri Brown seems very unhappy these days. ONGOING RUMOR: Meri Brown is about to leave Sister Wives. NEW REASON TO BELIEVE THIS RUMOR: A source who knows something about these kinds of situation has spoken out on the subject. Kristyn Decker is author of Fifty Years in Polygamy: Big Secrets and Little White Lies . Her parents were in a polygamous marriage and she was involved in one herself, prior to finally getting out after over three decades as a member in this kind of relationship. Oh, and she’s also Christine Brown’s aunt. Does this mean Decker knows absolutely everything there is to know about polygamy in general and the Browns specifically? No. But it does make Decker is a more reliable source than just some anonymous tabloid insider, you know? Earlier this week, Kristyn did her best to warn her niece against polygamy, labeling the lifestyle as an abusive cult . Now, however, she’s shifted her focus from Christine to Meri, taking note of Meri’s Instagram account and the many trips she appears to be taking on her own and making an educated guess about the reality star’s future. “That’s the beginning of her leaving,” Kristyn tells Radar , adding of her own experience: “That’s what I did. I had to start taking care of me. I started going to plays, parties and movies, I would find friends.” For several months now, Meri has been taking photos of herself on cruises… on walks… simply standing in the woods. And she’s been including with these photos cryptic captions that continually make it appear as if she’s trying to take stock of her life and is thinking about making some major changes. Most prominently and obviously? That she’s ready to walk out on her marriage . As Sister Wives fans know, Kody and Meri’s marriage hit a very rough patch when he divorced her to marry fourth wife, Robyn, Window in 2014. He then ended their legal marriage to adopt Robyn’s children from a previous relationship. Fast forward to 2016 and Meri getting caught in an embarrassing catfishing scandal , something that created even more of a rift between her and Kody. “It’s hard to be here and work on these relationships in the family,” Meri said on an episode from this past season of the show, adding: “I’m looking in from the outside. I don’t feel like I have a husband and wife relationship.” Kristyn – who has appeared on Sister Wives in the past – told Radar that she’s considered driving to Meri’s bed and breakfast to speak with her, but is worried she would be “shunned.” Instead, she’s therefore offering some advice from afar. And that advice amount to this: GET OUT NOW, MERI! “If you don’t behave you will be treated badly,” Decker says. “Like Kody with how he’s treated Meri. He’s a polygamist, he has the say and power. He’s the God of his kingdom.” And this is what she previously told the same website: Polygamy is a system of abuse overall. Mental, emotional, and spiritual. The groups believe their leaders are the right ones and the others are wrong. Overall, polygamy is a system that’s harmful to men, women, children and society. You will live in polygamy and the women will be submissive. The women must let the men have other wives or they’ll go to hell. Christine Brown’s Aunt Begs Star to Leave Sister Wives: It’s an Abusive Cult!

As previously documented, Christine Brown has lost a lot of weight. But someone very close to the long-time Sister Wives star is now hoping Christine loses something else in the near future: Her wedding ring. And the commitment that comes along with it. The veteran TLC personality, who rarely shares photo with spiritual husband Kody, is the subject of a new interview between Radar Online and Kristyn Decker. The latter is both Christine’s aunt and also the author of Fifty Years in Polygamy: Big Secrets and Little White Lies . She’s someone who grew up in polygamy, only to finally escape 33 years after she married her first husband. In other words: This is not some random critic of Christine, Kody and their unusual lifestyle… … this is someone who can speak from personal experience. Now that she’s happily in a monogamous marriage, Decker is calling on her estranged niece to do the same. “I was still in polygamy when Christine joined,” Decker tells Radar of watching her relative become a Sister Wife. “She looked happy. I thought, ‘She’s crazy about Kody, so go for it!’ Even as a believer, I wanted to privately to go tell them to run. I knew how crazy and insane it was. “You don’t know what you’re getting into. I wish I would’ve warned people.” Many observers have offered similar critiques for Christine and the three other women who shares Kody as a husband. But almost none of them have known the life of polygamy in the way Decker has, which is why her words are garnering national attentoon. “It’s a miserable-happy life,” she explains in this article. Meaning what, exactly? “The Browns are miserable-happy,” she says, elaborating as follows: They’re miserable on the inside. I don’t think any of them know what genuine happiness and freedom is. I thought I was happy. I thought life was great and I was serving God. “I was happy serving God, but miserable doing it. The more you sacrifice, the better your blessings will be in heaven.” Decker actually has appeared on Sister Wives. Her name or face may be familiar to long-time viewers. But she tells Radar that she and Christine never really talk, mostly due to Decker’s critical nature of her niece’s arrangement. Why does she think Brown can’t see clearly? Why isn’t Christine getting the heck out of there? Because she makes most of her income off the program and would be in financial trouble if she left. It’s a tragic and vicious and emotionally-damaging cycle. Kristyn went on to tell Radar how the Brown family belongs to is called the  AUB, which stands for Apostolic United Brethren. She said that while physical abuse is common, it is “not as common as emotional and mental abuse.” “Polygamy is a system of abuse overall,” she says. “Mental, emotional, and spiritual. The groups believe their leaders are the right ones and the others are wrong. Overall, polygamy is a system that’s harmful to men, women, children and society. “You will live in polygamy and the women will be submissive. The women must let the men have other wives or they’ll go to hell.” Sounds about right, doesn’t it? Helps explain why Meri Brown always sounds so sad, doesn’t it ? Kody married first wife Meri in 1990. Second wife Janelle joined the family in 1993. Christine married Kody in 1994. Then, Robyn joined the family in 2010. These two legally married in 2014 — meaning Kody had to divorce Meri — so he could adopt Robyn’s children from a previous marriage. In the family’s tell-all memoir, Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage , Christine opened up about the ups and downs in their marriage. She admitted that Kody’s marriage to Robyn really took its toll on her. “When Kody started courting and then married Robyn it really rocked me. I gave birth to Truely and was suffering from extreme postpartum depression,” wrote Christine, adding: “I’d never thought I’d feel such a sense of loss and such crippling jealousy. I thought I was better and stronger than that, I really did.” Don’t blame yourself, Christine. Just get the heck out of there — NOW. And [claps hands] really, to be quite honest, then he became friends with Duane Martin, which used to be one of my friends on “All of Us.” When I introduced them, that was one of the worst things I ever did. Lynn Jeter , LisaRaye’s mentor said, “Duane Martin, for LisaRaye was a nemesis that was unbelievable. He was someone she trusted. Someone that she felt was her friend. Someone she had bonded with and none of that was true.” LisaRaye: “Somehow within that relationship. Not a very spiritual or positive human being.” LisaRaye : Yes, you know my dirt as my brother, my friend. But you my friend. I introduced you to him. What are you doing? Handling Business: Lauren London Granted Guardianship Over The Estate of Her & Nipsey Hussle’s Son

View post:

Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Lauren London Has Been Officially Granted Guardianship of the Estate of Her Son With Nipsey Hussle Once someone passes, you hope that the family and friends surrounding them would come together to properly handle everything in a way that’s respectful toward all parties. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case, and wasn’t the case for Nipsey Hussle ‘s family, either. Following the legend’s horrific murder earlier this year, his family organized an absolutely unforgettable memorial service at The Staples Center. There, it seemed like Nipsey’s children were more than safe in the arms of his longtime love Lauren London and his sister, Samantha –but the mother of his firstborn, Emani , was also in the picture. Following the funeral and the world beginning to mourn, news started to circulate that there were some custody issues surrounding Nipsey’s daughter with Tanisha Asghedom . Before his passing, Hussle’s daughter was living with him and Lauren–which is what drove his siblings, Samantha and Blacc Sam, to file for joint custody of Emani in Nipsey’s absence. This led to some battles in court that are still ongoing between Tanisha and the family, but luckily, things for Nipsey’s youngest Kross seemed to be cut and dry with his mom Lauren London. Now, it’s official that London will be legally managing the future finances of her 3-year-old son, who is set to inherit $1 million from his late father. According to reports from TMZ , Lauren was granted guardianship over the estate of Kross Ermias Asghedom—her only child with the rapper and philanthropist. The outlet points out that the 34-year-old actress had filed for guardianship over the estate back in July, nearly four months after the father of her child was fatally shot in Los Angeles. London previously told the court she will be in charge of raising the child, and wanted to ensure that his seven-figure inheritance was handled properly. She argued that the best way she could do this is by being involved in all legal matters involving Nipsey’s estate, which is administered by his brother Blacc Sam. After all of the trouble surrounding Emani’s guardianship, it’s nice to see something stable for Kross (and hopefully for Emani once everything gets ironed out). Kross just celebrated his 3rd birthday back in August. View this post on Instagram Today is my warrior baby’s 3rd Birthday. Kross Ermias Asghedom. Points Were Made: Teacher Suspended For Saying The Confederate Flag Is A Sign ‘That You Intend To Marry Your Sister’

Source: Boston Globe / Getty Teacher Suspended For Disparaging Comments About The Confederate Flag A secondary school teacher in  Georgia was suspended for referring to the confederate flag as a sign that an individual plans to marry their own sister. I meaaaaaan…..some points were made. The Richmond County School System ended up launching an investigation after said teacher put a photo of the confederate flag on their board with a message that stated: “A sticker you put on the back of your pickup truck to announce that you intend to marry your sister. Think of it like a white trash ‘Save the Date’ card.” One of their students at Hephzibah High School ended up being upset by the message, so she told her mother about the whole thing. The student’s mother, Melissa Fuller, voiced her anger about the matter in a post on Facebook, which is where it was widely circulated and prompted discussion from other parents at the school along with local residents. “A lot of [the discussion] is that it’s not morally correct. It’s unethical. It’s just something you don’t want to discuss today in today’s world and especially inside of a classroom,” the mother told   WRDW-TV . Fuller added that her daughter had been suspended after wearing a belt that features a Confederate flag buckle to school after being asked to remove the belt. “If she can’t wear that belt buckle, then why is it appropriate to make an assignment out of it?” she asked.  Now, the teacher in question has been placed on administrative leave, according to the   Augusta Chronicle . The school district told the outlet, “The Richmond County School System is committed to creating a diverse, equitable learning environment for all students. The language used in the example was unacceptable and has no place in our classrooms.” While some insist that the Confederate flag–first used during the American Civil War– simply serves as a major source for  Southern pride, it’s extremely offensive to many who argue that the symbol is synonymous with white supremacy, bigotry, slavery, racism, etc. Now, the flag is regularly used by neo-nazis throughout the United States.

Colton Underwood: Rachel Lindsay is MEAN to Raven Gates and to Me!!

Some things just aren’t meant to last forever. Don’t get us wrong, Rachel Lindsay married Bryan Abasolo after a long engagement. But she and Raven Gates had a massive falling out. Now, Colton Underwood is trying his hand at feuding and suggesting that Rachel must just hate everyone . Rachel Lindsay’s falling out with former bestie Raven Gates was pretty conspicuous after Raven missed every stage of Rachel’s wedding. So naturally, when Rachel appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, fans got all kinds of nosy about it. In fact, Andy reveals that it was the number one question that fans had to ask. They asked her about that more than about her marriage to Bryan or about her thoughts on Peter as the 24th non-black Bachelor in a row . So when it came time to take phoned-in questions, Rachel responded. Rachel responds my shaking her head in chagrin. “What did she do to cause your falling out?” Andy asks. Rachel protests: “I can’t say. I promised I wouldn’t say.” “But,” Rachel offers. “It was enough for me to not want to be friends with her anymore.” “And you’re still not friends with her,” Andy asks for some almost pointless clarification. “No,” Rachel confirms. “Not at all. And I never will be.” Addressing it with Andy only made people more aware of Rachel and Raven’s falling out. For some reason, another member of the Bachelor Fam decided to weigh in. “Shocker,” Colton Underwood wrote on Instagram, his text dripping with sarcasm. “Rachel mad at another person?” his sarcastic comment continued. He then quits marveling in non-surprise and poses a semi-serious question. Colton asks: “Does she like anyone ?!” (Raven and Rachel are both extremely hot, especially in some of the photos in this post, so you’re welcome for balancing it out with Colton) Wait, does Colton have a beef with Rachel? When did that happen? “I’m not weighing in on the Rachel/Raven drama,” Colton clarified. And yet … that seems to be exactly what he chose to do. “I could care less about that,” he emphasized. “Not my business.” He then explains exactly why he decided to pipe up about Rachel being some sort of Negative Nelly. “What is my business,” Colton wrote. “Is the countless number of times she’s spoke poorly of me…” Countless times? It’s good to remember that not every Bachelor Fam conversation goes public. He continued, accusing: “including that time she ran her mouth about me to Cassie…” Oh, yeah, we could understand why he’d be annoyed about that. “Funny thing is,” the previously virginal hunk concluded. “I have never met her.” Naturally, you don’t have to have met someone to have an opinion — even a strong one — about them. That’s sort of what the Bachelor franchise is all about. Sure, the stars look for love, but millions of viewers form opinions. Rachel doesn’t have to meet Colton to decide that he’s, say, not the right man for Cassie to marry. By that same token, Colton doesn’t have to meet Rachel to decide that she’s been uncharitable towards him. Maybe they should hang out and get to know each other. We hear that Rachel is down a friend, anyway. In the mean time, we’ll continue to wonder what in the world Raven could have done for Rachel to permanently excise her from her life.
