Source: Atlanta Police Department / Via APD Newly released court documents from Fulton Superior Court reveal the shocking details regarding Alexis Crawford ‘s disappearance and death of the 21-year-old Clark Atlanta University student. In those documents obtained by 11Alive , Crawford was allegedly strangled and smothered to death by both her roommate Jordyn Jones and Jones’ boyfriend, Barron Brantley after a physical altercation with Jones. Both Jones and Brantley have been charged with murder in her death. RELATED: Roommate, Boyfriend Charged With Murder In Alexis Crawford Death Crawford was reported missing on November 1 and her body was discovered in a DeKalb County park on November 8 by Atlanta police. According to a Homicide Unit summary, Jones, Crawford’s roommate got into a fight with her on Halloween. Brantley, according to the report, got involved in the fight and choked Crawford with his hands. The warrant for Jones alleges the CAU student “smothered the victim” with “a black trash bag until she stopped breathing and was deceased.” The summary continued by stating that both Jones and Brantley placed Crawford’s body in a plastic bin and then dumped it in Exchange Park in Decatur before moving to a wooded area nearby. Both are due in court next week. Crawford’s funeral is set for Saturday at Hill Chapel Baptist Church.

As previously reported after a week’s search, Alexis’ body was found and her roommate and the roommate’s boyfriend were taken into custody. Now according to WSB TV , Alexis’ cause of death has been revealed as asphyxiation. Alexis’ roommate 21-year-old Jordyn Jones, is charged with malice murder. Jone’s boyfriend Barron Brantley, who is also charged in Crawford’s death, was booked Friday night. The motive for Alexis’ murder is unclear but authorities report that she filed a complaint against Brantley three days before she disappeared accusing him of “unwanted touching and kissing” inside the apartment she shared with Jones. According to the police report, “the victim stated that the suspect rubbed his hand on her shoulder and kissed her on the neck. The Detroit rapper, born Tyjuan Peoples, was slapped with a restraining order to keep away from his ex-girlfriend as he awaits a hearing. TMZ reports : According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Andrea Inzunza says Zay most recently attacked her in May. She says she’d just suffered a miscarriage, and on the way home they got into an argument. She claims Zay grabbed her by the arm, pushed her to the ground and ripped her shirt. Andrea says police responded, but doesn’t say what, if anything, happened to Zay. In the docs, she says the rapper also assaulted her in February when they were at home. Andrea says Zay tied her up with a Gucci belt, and started to choke her with his hands — all because she wanted to go to sleep, instead of watching him edit a music video. Andrea filed for a restraining order … which the judge granted. He must stay at least 100 yards away from her, at least until a hearing later this month.
