‘RHOAS11’ Recap: Eva Plans An Apology Trip To Tokyo

Continued here:

Source: Steve Granitz / Getty We pick up tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta with Porsha and Kandi’s argument. They’re just not going to get along and that’s that. Kandi attempts to leave, but Tanya asks her to stay. Kandi obliges and both women manage to ignore each other for the sake of peace. Kandi return unfollows Porsha on all social media and they’re both over it dot com. Dinner continues, and we move on to Eva bringing up NeNe and Tanya’s little tiff. NeNe was annoyed with Tanya for saying that something was low-end fashion that NeNe didn’t consider low-end fashion and said Tanya was pretentious.  The item that triggered NeNe were some $100 dollar shades from Swagg Boutique. NeNe owns Swagg Boutique. See where this is going? She probably really felt some type of way about Tanya calling her stuff low end. Anyway, Tanya apologizes for the offense and we move on. Then we get to the part where Porsha calls Eva out about being shady but forgetting her shady comments. Porsha even provides examples of how Eva has constantly shaded Cynthia. Eva suddenly gets amnesia about all of that, thus proving Porsha’s point. Then she says there’s not a shady bone in her body.  As if Eva wasn’t shading the life out of people on America’s Next Top Model years before RHOA even existed. Anyway, Porsha then says people should own up to their shade and Kandi is just looking at her like: Because we all know that Kandi feels that Porsha never owns up to her ish…and there’s validity to that given their situation. Anyway, the real reason why we’re at this Tanya/Eva collaboration dinner is so that Eva can apologize for not inviting them to her bachelorette party and tell them she’s taking them to Tokyo as an apology. In other news, Cynthia finally introduces Kandi, Marlo, and Eva to her new man, Mike Hill. They immediately start grilling him, and we all feel like this is a bit immature, but Mike Hill can get with them. He even tells them, “This is Hill, not Will” (you remember the Willi fiasco), which basically means they got the right one. And you already know this group of women brings it with the questions. They ask everything from what he brings to the table, to what he loves most about Cynthia, to what his go-to sex moves are, to his credit score, and even inquire about the last time he had an STD. He answers everything and they’re impressed. He seems honest, very into Cynthia and not shady at all. So far so good. Finally, the episode winds down with Porsha getting her moment to chat with Dennis about all that has been going on. Porsha explains to Dennis that he should have never continued having a conversation with Jami’s friend knowing that she was upset about it. Dennis doesn’t feel like he did anything wrong (aka Porsha may have blown things out of proportion) but Porsha says them hormones got her feeling some type of way and she needs him to own up to his ish. Eventually, Dennis seems to get it and he apologizes. Next week, the Shady Bunch heads East for some drama in Japan. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss are officially on the outs again! The two ladies went to war during a hibachi party on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  From Porsha calling Kandi a “b—h” and accusing her of being “fake as hell,” it was a wild installment that proved these two can never be friends.  “You don’t know how to control yourself, that’s the problem,” Kandi fired back at her nemesis during the party.  Confused about how it all played out?  Yeah, we were in the same boat.  “How did we end up here again?” Kandi asked the cameras before we took a trip to the world of flashbacks to put the pieces together.  Picking up a week earlier, Kandi learned the truth about why Porsha was kicked out of her husband Todd’s birthday party, and she was not amused.  A girl from Dennis McKinley’s past showed up at the party, prompting Porsha to fly off the handle, and it made everyone else at the party uncomfortable. While Kandi vowed to get to the bottom of it, Porsha was telling her own version of events to her sister Lauren and Dennis.  Porsha’s biggest issue was that she felt she was set up to argue with this woman, and fumed that Kandi didn’t call her to check in with her.  In this instance, Porsha must be deluded. By getting into that fight she caused unnecessary drama, so why should Kandi be the one to pick up the phone? “When the hate don’t work, you start telling lies,” Dennis said as though butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth.  Porsha struggled because she knew she had to get her side of the story across to her co-stars before they picked sides, so she turned to NeNe Leaks and Cynthia Bailey.  In doing so, she also confirmed her pregnancy to them.  Elsewhere, Cynthia prepared for a visit from her boyfriend, Mike Hill, and it was her first time seeing him in some time.  Knowing Mke was ready to make a big gesture, Cynthia wondered whether he was going to propose, but he really wanted to know whether she wanted to have an exclusive relationship.  It’s the next best thing, we guess. Cynthia was grinning from ear-to-ear when he uttered the following: “Will you be my lady?’ It’s great to see Cynthia in such a happy place after such a rough time with Peter Thomas.  Cynthia’s ex-husband was back in Atlanta during the installment, and the big surprise was that he did not do anything to ruin her new relationship.  The episode concluded with the fight at the beginning, meaning we have to wait until next Sunday to find out what happens next.  What are your thoughts on the fight? ‘RHOAS11’ Recap: Kandi And Porsha Hate Each Other Again

Original post:

Source: Bravo / Getty Tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta is mostly about Porsha and Kandi’s reignited beef. We all knew this falling out was coming because that foundation was not stable. At. All. Kandi was barely getting over the drugging accusations that Porsha ignorantly threw around so willy-nilly. They both tolerated each other. Let’s get down to business. All the drama started when Porsha got kicked out of Todd’s Michael Jordan-themed, 45h birthday party. We cut back and forth between Kandi talking to her team and Porsha talking to her sister and Dennis. Todd was really out of the loop and Kandi only knew bits and pieces of what her team was telling her, primarily DonJuan and Jami. DonJuan and Jami explain that Porsha got mad that Jami’s friend, who used to date Dennis, tried to kiss him on the cheek. We all know that Jami and Porsha already don’t get along from when Porsha tried to fight her years ago for…who even remembers? Anyway, we also know that Porsha is a hothead. So, Jami said that Dennis and her friend were chatting it up and being friendly, but Porsha came out at the part where said friend tried to kiss Dennis on the cheek. Dennis claims that he pulled a matrix move when the friend tried to kiss him and kinda made it seem like the friend was coming on to him. Then Jami said that the friend started to walk away from Porsha, but that Porsha began escalating the situation and getting rowdy. Jami said she stepped in the middle and that Porsha chest bumped her. Porsha then said that someone from Kandi’s team kicked her out because they didn’t want anyone to act a’fool at Kandi and Todd’s event. That person from Kandi’s team corroborates that claim. Porsha said that the next day, #TheBlogs reported that she got into a fistfight, which wasn’t true, and she blames Kandi’s team, particularly Jami, for planting the story. She’s also pissed at Kandi for not following up with her. Meanwhile, Jami says that Porsha really needs to get mad at Dennis because, after the incident, he was allegedly texting her friend laughing and joking about the situation. Now let’s fast forward some more. At this point in the episode, we find Cynthia, Nene, Shamea, and Porsha together discussing the incident because they want to know how Porsha got kicked out. Porsha goes into her side of the story again and pretty much seems like the victim. But eventually they move on and Porsha finally reveals that she’s pregnant. They all erupt into screams of excitement and NeNe can breathe because she no longer has to keep this secret. But then Cynthia wonders what we’re all wondering: Why would Porsha put herself at risk at the party since she knew she was pregnant? All Porsha offers is that she’s upset at herself for putting herself in that position. Now Cynthia and NeNe want to talk to Kandi. So, let’s get to that moment. The entire group gets together—it’s a girls night at Tanya’s place. Let’s cut to the chase, it all goes downhill as soon as both women come face to face. They start off trying to explain their respective sides—as they always do—and then go into a full-blown argument. Porsha blames Kandi, Kandi explains that she didn’t plant a story and that she didn’t even know what was going on until after the fact. But then Porsha escalates by calling Kandi a b—h. Kandi tells Porsha that she doesn’t know how to control herself, which is definitely true because all this popping off can’t be good for the baby, yet here we are. Plus, Kandi said multiple people told her that Porsha was the aggressor. Anyway, Kandi attempts to make her way out before things go too far. She doesn’t even know that Porsha is pregnant. This is where we end for now because Kandi doesn’t make it out of the house before the episode ends. We get hit with a, “To Be Continued.” Next week, Porsha will also confront Dennis because she is starting to question whether she can trust him or not. ‘RHOAS11’ Recap: Cynthia Sends Noelle Off To Howard University

Read the rest here:

Source: Ethan Miller / Getty Tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta is chill, but it will tug at your heartstrings. Cynthia is preparing to send Noelle to Howard University, and both women are nervous wrecks because this will be the first thing Noelle has ever done without dear mama. However, Cynthia is proud of her baby girl and is planning to celebrate. The scene is Lake Bailey, and we’re in the middle of Noelle’s send-off party. Unfortunately, Noelle refuses to come downstairs and has a breakdown where she tearfully explains to her mother that she can’t go and wants the guests who are already there to go home. Mama Bear Cynthia comforts her girl and assures her that everything will be alright. Hold that thought. In other news, Todd and Mama Joyce aren’t on good terms, which sucks because they had made so much progress. Basically, Mama Joyce made a comment in an interview, that Kandi took Todd from lemons to lemonade, and Todd hasn’t taken too kindly to that because he feels it’s an insult. Mama Joyce says she meant it as a compliment but we all know how shady she can be. So now it’s up to Kandi to try to get them to be cool again. Kandi would like her mom to apologize and Mama Joyce has agreed. We’re nervous about how this goes but let’s fast forward a bit. Mama Joyce and Todd have their discussion and it actually goes well. Looks like all is well in Kandi Land again. Porsha has a major moment as she learns that her pregnancy is viable. You know she has been worried about this pregnancy due to having had prior miscarriages and her fibroid situation, but she finally has her first prenatal doctor’s appointment. It looks like everything is going well, but the only bummer for Porsha is that she will have to have a c-section due to having a myomectomy . Now we fast forward a bit and we’re back to Cynthia. She successfully convinces Noelle to go to Howard and they end up spending a weekend getting her settled into her new dorm. Luckily for Noelle, her roommate situation fell through so she has a room all to herself. Finally, the episode winds down with Cynthia and Leon sending Noelle back to campus, alone in an Uber, after a nice dinner. Noelle is still nervous but ready to level up. Next week it’s Kandi vs. Porsha again and it’s going to get heated, heated . ‘Dated’ Clothes Clap Back: Shamari DeVoe Shows Off The Designer Duds In Her Closet [Video]

Source: FreddyO / FreddyO.com Shamari DeVoe Shows Off Her Closet Shamari DeVoe of the “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” is showing off her closet. As previously reported Shamari clapped back after Cynthia shadily said that her Blaque performance outfit looked “dated.” “I did side-eye Cynthia’s comment about Blaque’s look and hair being “dated” when everyone knows that ’90s looks are coming back full circle…I think she should respect Blaque’s “dated” look just like we respect her “veteran walk.” Following that Porsha wondered why Shamari was open about everything including her open marriage but NOT open about getting a stylist. Now she’s showing off her shoe collection, her purses, and even some lingerie. Dated, WHERE?! What’d you think about Shamari’s wardrobe?

Cynthia Erivo: Here’s Why Folks Think This Harriet Tubman Actress Is “Anti-Black”, And Can’t Lead The Slaves TO FREEDOM…

(Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images) Blacks Want British-Nigerian Cynthia Erivo Tossed From Harriet Tubman Biopic There is a diaspora war happening on twitter that started with Tevin Campbell, and it could possibly end over Harriet Tubman! Recently, it was announced that Tony winning actress Cynthia Erivo ( The Color Purple ) would play an icon in Black American history for the big screen. Harriet Tubman. But, folks are saying Erivo shares vitriol for Blacks who are descendents of slavery, therefore the role should go to someone else. How did Erivo’s critics conclude this? Well, she’s very close with a Nigerian representing twitter user named Luvvie. And Luvvie recently had old tweets resurface that displayed some disdain towards American Blacks. She made fun of Kwanzaa, calling herself an “elitist African” and condemned HBCU’s — like they were trash! All of these things and more came to light because Luvvie decided to tweet negatively about Tevin Campbell and a handful of American Black twitter users got tired of her trashing Blackness. The consensus was “Don’t speak for us, since you hate us.” In return, Luvvie justified her Blackness with a blog, in which Cynthia Erivo unabashedly supported. Do you think this means she’s anti-Black, like her Nigerian sister Luvvie is accused of being? Is this y’alls Harriet?? Embarrassing smh pic.twitter.com/McJgHlK1Ms — Nahum N (@passport_stamps) September 15, 2018 That wasn’t it either. Cynthia retweeted tweets about Black Americans being JEALOUS of Africans in the US. Yeah i learned something new today pic.twitter.com/hnSxHF5JrY — Anastasia Maxine Beaverhausen-Shaw (@CNRush) September 15, 2018   Critics of Cynthia Erivo in the role of Harriet feel like she secretly shares vitriol for Black culture, and hides it. But Cynthia DID defend her role in the upcoming film, saying: “Actors are free to go where they please for their work, but I dare you to do that fully as a Black woman in the U.K. If I see it, I applaud it.” “What was for someone else was never mine in the first place. Please believe that I have turned down roles I know I have no business playing. This role is not one of them….” “If you met me in the street and hadn’t heard me speak, would you know I was British, or would you simply see a Black woman?” That statement doesn’t address whether or not Cynthia respects Blackness, descendents of slaves and African-American Culture. Folks are waiting for some answers. What do YOU think of all of this? Hit the flip to see some of the point folks are making about Cynthia stepping down from this biopic. Are they justified?
