Source: Mint Images / Getty Teacher Accused Of Having A Relationship With Sixth Grade Student Last year, a teacher in Arizona allegedly coerced and assaulted a 13-year-old student at Las Brisas Academy Elementary School in Goodyear when she was 27. At the time, police released texts between Zamora and the student following her arrest in March 2018–but now, Arziona Republic reports that more disturbing details in the case have since been revealed. When speaking with a police interviewer, the 13-year-old said that he couldn’t recall at what point his interactions with the teacher started to escalate to the alleged assault. “She said she wanted to give me a blow job and my stuff is really big and stuff like that,” he explained. He also said that one day during a parent-teacher meeting, the 27-years-old hugged and kissed him. The teacher, Brittany Zamora, allegedly engaged in sexual activity with the student at the back of the classroom while other students were there watching videos. During the interview, he said that she would often pretend to drop something or look for stuff at her desk and she would “touch his stuff.” He added that he would also send her notes during class that explained what he wanted to do, also proclaiming his love for her. The situation continued for weeks until one day, when he was staying at his grandparents’ house, he snuck out to meet her in her car, where they performed oral sex on one another. The next night, the sixth grader said they engaged in intercourse. Though Zamora told him not to tell anyone what happened, he later ended up telling a friend. A friend of the victim said that he saw the two have sex in her classroom while he was told to be a lookout. “They were just doing it,” he revealed. “It was very uncomfortable… It’s, like, weird how a 27-year-old can, like, love a 13-year-old and do stuff. It’s just crazy. She’s not a good person.” The two of them asked the friend to stand watch the next day, but he refused and left. The 13-year-old told the friend that he had sex with his teacher again after he refused to stand watch a second time. Now, the victim’s parents are reportedly suing Zamora, her husband, and the school district for $2.5 million in damages.

Neeson made the confession in an interview with Independent when he was promoting his new flick Cold Pursuit. While explaining his character’s need for revenge, Liam described an instance when his friend was raped and she told Liam that a Black man did it. In fits of anger, Neeson said he would roam the streets with a cosh (a bar used as a weapon) looking for the nearest Black man to provoke him: “I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I’d be approached by somebody – I’m ashamed to say that – and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some [Neeson gestures air quotes with his fingers] ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could…kill him.” Many online souls were flabbergasted by Liam’s words. It shocked me, and it hurt me. I did seek help. I went to a priest who heard my confession…[I had] two very, very good friends that I talked too, and believe it or not, power walking two hours everyday to get rid of this. I’m not racist, this was nearly 40 years ago.” Like whaaaa??? First off Liam, you said you deliberately went into Black neighborhoods to take out your anger on any random Black person. This is, in fact, racist. Like…you didn’t go to the nearest Whole Foods in your neighborhood to find a Black person. You specifically went into Black neighborhoods to enact terror. And even if your need for revenge has subsided over the years, you’ve yet to acknowledge that your targeting of Black communities was racist, which proves you still have some racism up in your bones. Finally… And listen closely… If you’re a White person, you should more readily assume you are racist, rather than believing you’re not. It’s times like these that self-identified “non-racist” White people love to distance themselves from other White people who are blatantly racist, because if there’s one thing that “non-racist” White people H A T E, it’s to be called racist. “I’m not like that horrible Liam Neeson who said he wanted to beat a random Black person,” said your random White neighbor. “I would NEVER say the N-word,” said your White lover. “Liam Neeson is canceled,” said the White head of your marketing team. I get you “non-racist” White person. But what about your racist cousin demanding more police presence in their newly gentrified neighborhood ? What about your racist uncle who bought private prison stock when Trump got elected ? It can be outright dangerous to use Liam’s actions as the sole measuring stick for racism. Wanting to kill a random Black person is the tip of the iceberg and the most primal manifestation of racist attitudes. But the system of racism is inherently violent and White people either participate in it or benefit from it. Racism, and especially anti-Black racism, is a system of power that subjugates Black people in all corners of society, from institutions to your own personal circles. While Liam’s attitude might be an inter-personal manifestation of racism, the wealth gap between races is just one example of institutional racism that White people can benefit from. A 2019 study by the Institute for Policy reported that the median Black family today owns $3,600, which is just 2% of the wealth median White families own at $146,984. On top of this, median White wealth is continuing to increase, while median Black wealth is on track to reach zero by 2082, according to the report. This major gap is due to years of wealth-stripping practices aimed at Black people in the housing market , prison-police systems and more. Now you’d think with such reports, there’d be complete social media outrage from “non-racist” White people demanding more research on the racial wealth divide, discriminatory practices and the need for reparations . The same criminalization of Black people enacted by Neeson is the same criminalization used to keep Black people out of wealth stability and instead, in prisons and resource-stripped environments. Is this not the groundwork for targeted violence? Are the “non-racist” Whites starting a social media campaign around this? If they’re aware of these issues and do nothing, aren’t they complicit in racism? Any White person claiming they’re not racist is not beneficial to anti-racist work. In contrast, it might be better for a White person to say “how do I benefit from racism” or “how can I be less racist today?” Part of this can be just doing your research on how systematic racism can be violent along with searching for the nearest Black person to pummel with a “cosh.” I understand violence is on a spectrum and might require different reactions, but “I’m not racist” attitudes aren’t helping the conversation. Racism is normal. The goal is to make it not normal on all levels.
For many years now, Liam Neeson has been focused on payback in, like, every movie in which he’s starred. On Tuesday morning, however, the actor was forced to walk back some very unusual and controversial comments he recently made about race relations. Specifically, how Neeson once roamed the street hoping to murder some random black person . Speaking to The Independent earlier in the week, Neeson thought back to a long time ago when a close friend of his got raped. Unprompted, and to the shock of everyone who read this story, the veteran star explained how he was so intent on revenge for the incident that he set out to commit violence against an African-American. Why? Because his friend said it was an African-American who committed the awful act against her. “God forbid you’ve ever had a member of your family hurt under criminal conditions,” Neeson told the aforementioned publication, delving into the details: “She handled the situation of the rape in the most extraordinary way. But my immediate reaction was … I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? “She said it was a black person.” From there? “I went up and down areas with a cosh [bludgeon], hoping I’d be approached by somebody – I’m ashamed to say that … hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? “So that I could … kill him,” Neeson added. Yikes, right? Neeson freely admitted that he was out looking to kill ANY “black bastard,” condemning an entire race, simply because one black person raped his friend. Speaking to Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, the actor acknowledged how awful this sounds. But he insisted that incident stemmed from immaturity and anger, not any ingrained racism. “I’m not a racist,” Neeson told Roberts. He explained that the assault in question happened “nearly 40 years ago” and alleged that he “definitely” would have searched for a white man in the same way if his friend said her attacker had fit that description. “If she’d have said an Irish, or a Scott, or a Brit, or a Lithuanian I know [it] would’ve had the same effect,” he said. Neeson went on to say he learned from his response, saying to Roberts: “I was trying to show honor, to stand up for my dear friend in this terrible medieval fashion.” “I am a fairly intelligent guy. That’s why it kind of shocked me when I came down to earth after having these terrible feelings.” “Luckily no violence occurred.” “I did want to lash out because my friend was brutally raped and I was defending her honor. It was a learning curve.” He added that he sought help from a priest shortly after responding in this wildly inappropriate fashion. Looking back, the actor said how wrong he was and that he’s thankful no one got hurt. “It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that. And I’ve never admitted that, and I’m saying it to a journalist. God forbid,” he said before concluding: “It’s awful. But I did learn a lesson from it, when I eventually thought, ‘What the f-ck are you doing?'”
As you’ve likely heard by now, Mike Sorrentino reported to prison this week to begin serving an eight-month sentence for tax fraud. As we reported earlier, there’s a good chance that Mike will qualify for early release, and the fact that The Situation is sober will likely help his standing with the parole board. But even with his sobriety, community service and celebrity status in his favor, Mike will still be cooling his heels in the slammer for several months. Unless, of course, he benefits from some A-list intervention. In recent months, Kim Kardashian has worked with the Trump administration to gain presidential pardons for non-violent offenders serving long sentences. Mike isn’t exactly Alice Marie Johnson , who was serving a life sentence before Kim intervened, but at the moment, he’s probably not too thrilled with his … situation (sorry). Fortunately, Sorrentino has friends in high places, and they’re doing everything they can to see that he’s sprung earlier. Unfortunately, there’s not much they can do other than beg Kim Kardashian for help. He’s so strong mentally from like his recovery process that it’s working out for him now in jail,” Vinny added. “Mike’s the type of guy where he looks for the positive in every situation. I can picture him in there, watching TV, working out.” So all-in-all things aren’t as terrible as they seem. But that doesn’t mean Mike wouldn’t welcome a little help from Kim K: “Mike is an amazing person,” Vin said when asked to make a direct appeal to Kim. “To me, he’s completely reformed—he’s a great member of society. “He preaches to kids that have addictions, he’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery,” Vin added. “He’d be better off out here, helping people. Just days ago, Pete Davidson returned to Saturday Night Live , and he was characteristically good-humored when addressing his mental health. Unfortunately, after the sudden death of his friend and fellow comedian, he appears to be struggling. During a stand-up routine this week, he seemed to break down on stage, admitting that his “brain is mush.” On Tuesday, January 22, Pete Davidson did stand-up comedy at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City. Even as the performance began, he admitted to the audience that he was off his game. “I’m in a weird mood,” Pete confessed. According to what an eyewitness tells Us Weekly , Pete “looked tired” as he took the stage in a hoodie and sweatpants. To be fair, perpetually looking tired has become part of Pete’s brand, and he has used that to comedic effect on Saturday Night Live . This time, however, it was no joke. Pete began his stand-up with his standard routine. He touched on standard subjects, like his breakup with former fiancee Ariana Grande, his mental health struggles, and the size of his penis. But he admitted that he was feeling off. Pete explained that he was “a bit sad” over the passing of his friend, late comedian Kevin Barnett. “My head hurts,” Davidson told his audience. “How long have I been up here?” “Sorry,” he apologized. “My brain is mush.” Kevin Barnett died at just 32 years old while on vacation in Mexico. Though Kevin’s death was confirmed on Tuesday, the day of Pete’s stand-up, the cause of death remains unknown. Kevin was active on social media as recently as Saturday, January 19. The tragic news came as a heartbreaking shock to his friends and family as well as to his fans. Pete was clearly reeling from the news. Pete was clearly at the end of his tether as, after continuing his routine, he asked “how much longer” he had on stage. Folks, Pete Davidson is a professional comedian. This is not typical behavior for him. Quite frankly, it’s worrisome. He was apologetic to the audience, and told them that they should feel free to “just leave” if they were tired. We hope that Pete is getting plenty of rest and anything else that he needs. There is no easy answer when someone is grappling with the loss of a friend. Sometimes, it hits you when you least expect. Pete has famously used his comedy for good. For years, he has been outspoken about his mental illness in order to help others know that they are not alone. More recently, he has taken aim at disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly . “I thought I was having a bad year,” Pete joked, poking fun at how many of R. Kelly’s secrets were recently exposed. “Man, that guy is evil,” Pete said, making it clear that he does not pity R. Kelly for his current public relations nightmare. Pete continued, stating that R. Kelly “should get shot in the f–king face.” We here at THG of course do not condone any illegal violence, no matter what a person may deserve. Of course, Pete may have been suggesting a lawful execution via firing squad. Grief hits people hard, and those with mental illness who are already fighting to function may be hit the hardest. We all knew this falling out was coming because that foundation was not stable. At. All. Kandi was barely getting over the drugging accusations that Porsha ignorantly threw around so willy-nilly. They both tolerated each other. Let’s get down to business. All the drama started when Porsha got kicked out of Todd’s Michael Jordan-themed, 45h birthday party. We cut back and forth between Kandi talking to her team and Porsha talking to her sister and Dennis. Todd was really out of the loop and Kandi only knew bits and pieces of what her team was telling her, primarily DonJuan and Jami. DonJuan and Jami explain that Porsha got mad that Jami’s friend, who used to date Dennis, tried to kiss him on the cheek. We all know that Jami and Porsha already don’t get along from when Porsha tried to fight her years ago for…who even remembers? Anyway, we also know that Porsha is a hothead. So, Jami said that Dennis and her friend were chatting it up and being friendly, but Porsha came out at the part where said friend tried to kiss Dennis on the cheek. Dennis claims that he pulled a matrix move when the friend tried to kiss him and kinda made it seem like the friend was coming on to him. Then Jami said that the friend started to walk away from Porsha, but that Porsha began escalating the situation and getting rowdy. Jami said she stepped in the middle and that Porsha chest bumped her. Porsha then said that someone from Kandi’s team kicked her out because they didn’t want anyone to act a’fool at Kandi and Todd’s event. That person from Kandi’s team corroborates that claim. Porsha said that the next day, #TheBlogs reported that she got into a fistfight, which wasn’t true, and she blames Kandi’s team, particularly Jami, for planting the story. She’s also pissed at Kandi for not following up with her. Meanwhile, Jami says that Porsha really needs to get mad at Dennis because, after the incident, he was allegedly texting her friend laughing and joking about the situation. Now let’s fast forward some more. At this point in the episode, we find Cynthia, Nene, Shamea, and Porsha together discussing the incident because they want to know how Porsha got kicked out. Porsha goes into her side of the story again and pretty much seems like the victim. But eventually they move on and Porsha finally reveals that she’s pregnant. They all erupt into screams of excitement and NeNe can breathe because she no longer has to keep this secret. But then Cynthia wonders what we’re all wondering: Why would Porsha put herself at risk at the party since she knew she was pregnant? All Porsha offers is that she’s upset at herself for putting herself in that position. Now Cynthia and NeNe want to talk to Kandi. So, let’s get to that moment. The entire group gets together—it’s a girls night at Tanya’s place. Let’s cut to the chase, it all goes downhill as soon as both women come face to face. They start off trying to explain their respective sides—as they always do—and then go into a full-blown argument. Porsha blames Kandi, Kandi explains that she didn’t plant a story and that she didn’t even know what was going on until after the fact. But then Porsha escalates by calling Kandi a b—h. Kandi tells Porsha that she doesn’t know how to control herself, which is definitely true because all this popping off can’t be good for the baby, yet here we are. Plus, Kandi said multiple people told her that Porsha was the aggressor. Anyway, Kandi attempts to make her way out before things go too far. She doesn’t even know that Porsha is pregnant. This is where we end for now because Kandi doesn’t make it out of the house before the episode ends.
