We’re very sorry to all those Jim Edmonds and Meghan King Edmonds true believers. We hate to break this to all the folks out there who thought these two would fight through their issues and find eternal happiness together. Because, SPOILER ALERT, they will not. In case this wasn’t obvious based on the recent statements made by the former Major League Baseball player and former Real Housewife of Orange County, consider the following: Jim has now moved out. On his Instagram page this weekend, Jim showed off his children playing around in his new residence — and gave a mini-tour of the home — amid his split from Meghan. Meghan and Jim are the parents of two-year-old daughter Aspen and 17-month-old twins, Hayes and Hart. The latter is also dad to Sutton and Landon Edmonds, his two older kids who he shares with his ex-wife Allison Edmonds. In one clip from his father’s social media page, Hayes looks around his new playroom in awe while big sister, Aspen, runs over to grab some toys. “Hayes doesn’t know what to do,” Jim captioned the footage. He also filmed the entire family as they gather around to look at a Jack-in-the-box toy. And in another clip, Aspen throws baseballs just like her dad in what appears to be an in-house baseball training facility. Jim, of course, filed for divorce from Meghan on October 25. This wasn’t wholly unexpected, consideirng Jim admitted to (at minimum) sexting with another woman during the couple’s five-year marriage. But the Internet then exploded with chatter that Jim had been sleeping with the family’s nanny, a 22-year old woman named Carly Wilson. The ex-outfielder strongly denied this rumor, trashing Meghan for playing any role at all in spreading it around in public. In an exclusive statement to Us weekly, Jim called the claims, “ dangerous, irresponsible and hurtful .” He also addressed the controversy in an Instagram post on October 28, writing: “It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people.” In her own blog entry later on, however, Meghan admitted that Jim and Carly probably never had sex… but did state that she thought the two had an inappropriate relationship. “I am broken,” she added at the time . “I have endured prolific controlling by Jim and it isn’t slowing down,” the ex-Bravo star said on November 4. “ She added back then: Even when I make an unassuming post on Instagram, he hurls insults at me for a battery of made-up indiscretions. I’m sick of the abuse and I won’t engage anymore — and I don’t have to.” Just when everything appeared to have calmed down between the pair, however, Jim called the cops on Meghan just this week and accused her of being a neglient parent. According to the San Francisco Chronicle , Airbnb , under intense pressure and a lot of bad PR, has finally decided to pay for the funerals of those murdered in the Orinda shooting. A statement released by Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced that the company has budgeted funds for not only the funerals but also counseling for the families. What happened on Thursday night in Orinda, CA was horrible. I feel for the families and neighbors impacted by this tragedy – we are working to support them. — Brian Chesky (@bchesky) November 2, 2019 Chesky’s above tweet prompted some card-pullin’ and receipt-wavin’ from lawyer Jesse Danoff who represents the family of Raymon Hill Jr. He said his law firm “wants the public to know that in no way has Airbnb done anything to support the family of Mr. Hill.” He said the family asked Airbnb to cover funeral expenses but got no response. “They haven’t even reached out to apologize,” Danoff said in the statement. “They have merely responded in public with platitudes and thoughts and prayers or have made nebulous promises to ‘do better’ and ‘improve trust.’” And. I. Oop. Shortly after Danoff let the yoppa speak, Chesky called and offered to pay. An offer Danoff calls “reactionary”. Despite the company’s offer, Danoff said his law firm, Mitchell, will sue Airbnb for negligence that caused “a grave and serious risk to life.” “We’re looking to have the family compensated for what was a senseless death of their family member,” Danoff said. Gonna take more than a half-dozen caskets and flowers to push past this one. Chesky better be ready to back the truck up.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has seemingly come up with an explanation for why he allegedly assaulted Jen Harley several weeks ago. In a new social media post, the polarizing Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star appears to address his violent ex-girlfriend and he appears to justify his recent behavior by basically saying the following: Hey, you did it first! As loyal readers likely know at this point, Ronnie was arrested in early October after he reportedly threatened Harley with a knife. He supposedly did this after the two got into an explosive argument and right before he swiped the occasional couple’s young daughter, Ariana, out of Harley hands. According to the police report filed at the time, Ronnie then locked himself inside of a home he and Harley were renting, refusing to open the door when the police arrived. The authorities therefore had to knock said door down and tase Ronnie in order to take him into custody. The reality star now faces one full year in prison after he was hit with seven misdemeanors , which include the following charges: One count of domestic violence. One count of brandishing a weapon. One count of child endangerment. One count of resisting arrest. Another count of resisting arrest. One count of willful and unlawful criminal threats. One count of false imprisonment. Ronnie has said very little in the wake of this scandal, although insiders close to the muscle-bound father claim he was just protecting Ariana and that Harley was actually the drunk one placing the toddler in danger. Now, however, it certainly appears as if Ronnie has something to say. Something very immature to say, we should emphasize. “First I treat you how I want to be treated. But then I treat you how you treat me,” Ronnie wrote this week, managing to both confuse followers and stir up a great deal of concern as well. Is Ronnie really trying to justify his behavior by stating that Harley abused him first? We mean, that is sort of accurate. Harley was arrested last year for dragging Ortiz-Magro down the street by her car and then also hurled a glass ashtray at his head this past New Year’s Eve. She was never charged with any crime, however, and obviously didn’t serve any jail time as a result. But still: You did it first is the kind of defense made by a second-grader, and certainly not something that should ever be said in the wake of an assault charge. Ronnie, meanwhile, seemed far more at peace with everything not long before writing out the above quote, writing: At some point you have to let go of what you think should happen and live in what’s happening. Every moment matters. Wherever you are, be all there. Enjoy it all. The point of power’s always in the present moment. Amen, Ronnie. Now go leave Harley alone and just be there for your kid, dude. According to CNN , the manager of a South Carolina restaurant, Bobby Paul Edwards, has been sentenced to only ten years in prison for torturing and enslaving a mentally ill Black man named John Christopher Smith for, wait for it, SEVENTEEN YEARS! Smith began washing dishes at J and J Cafeteria in Conway, South Cack as a 12-year-old boy, when Edwards took over as manager, his life turned into a living hell. Edwards yelled racial epithets at Smith, beat him with a belt, hit him with pots and pans, and burned him with scalding hot tongs to “make him work faster”. In a WPDE interview, Smith says he was afraid to lose his job so he did whatever Smith told him, including being confined to a back room whenever his family would come into the restaurant. “I wanted to get out of there a long time ago. But I didn’t have nobody I could go to,” he said. He said he was denied access even to his own family. “I couldn’t go anywhere. I couldn’t see none of my family so that was that,” he said. “That’s the main basic thing I wanted to see was my mom come see me. I couldn’t see my mom…and I couldn’t talk to nobody.” Edwards is almost 40-years-old now and he would have never been freed from his slavery if not for a customer who called police after noticing a bevy of scars on his hands and body as he brought them their food. “It is almost inconceivable that instances of forced labor endure in this country to this day — a century and a half after the Emancipation Proclamation,” said Assistant Attorney General Eric Dreiband of the Civil Rights Division. “The Department of Justice will continue to investigate, prosecute, and convict human traffickers involved in forced labor, seeking justice on behalf of their victims.” In a press release, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that Edwards was sentenced to a decade in prison FOR SLAVERY and forced to pay Mr. Smith $272,952.96 in restitution. If David Eason and Jenelle Evans really are faking their divorce for attention and money, well… … they are doing a mighty terrific job of making it seem real. Evans, of course, announced very late last month that she was finally finished with her violent husband , explaining via Instagram that she was ready to move on. “I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” wrote the extremely polarizing mother of three, adding at the time: “I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life. Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. “With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.” To make her intentions clear, Evans concluded: The kids and I have moved away David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. The former reality star went on to thank fans for supporting her and assured all that both she and the kids “are doing great.” As you can see above, Jenelle sounds rather definitive, right? And yet: Our staff has been debating whether Evans and Eason are truly over for good because, let’s be honest, you never know with these two. In the days since, however, Eason has trashed Jenelle as “stupid” online, while also mocking her history of road rage incidents and implying that she doesn’t deserve custody of their daughter, two-year old Ensley. Might David have finally realized this whole divorce thing is real? Publishing a photo after the removal, Eason displayed severe peeling and a gnarly band tan. It also appeared as if the ring had been squeezing his finger a little too tight. “Its [sic] gonna take some time for that finger to heal up,” he wrote. So there you have it… for now. Time, branding, and all of those hot thirst-trap Instagram pics have finally paid off for Khloe Kardashian. Just days ago, she passed a major social media milestone, acquiring 100 million followers on Instagram. She’s celebrating the achievement, but she’s also warning her followers that an obsession with social media will quash their chance at happiness. “100 million followers!!!! Wow wow wow!!!” Khloe gushed in astonishment on her Instagram Stories. “Thank you guys!!!!” she wroted to her legion of followers. “This is nuts!!” Nuts though it may be, it was also cause for celebration. In fact, Khloe received a gift from Popeyes to mark the occasion — in the form of a small feast of delicious chicken. However, Khloe also shared a message — one of many — that seemed to be biting the hand that feeds her. No, she didn’t shade Popeyes or support a certain homophobic rival restaurant chain. But she did seem to take aim at social media. “Unpopular opinion: I think social media has completely destroyed our generations ability to be truly happy,” the message begins. Notably, at age 35 and having been born in 1984, Khloe is a Millennial, though the saying may apply just as easy to Gen Z, who are age 20 and younger. “We’re always seeing someone else who we think has it better than us,” the statement shared by Khloe claims. The message concludes: “And it causes us to think that what we have isn’t good enough.” That is certainly interesting. Arguably, much of her family’s brand involves having it better than their many followers. Fans don’t just follow them for drama or thirst. Some like seeing how the mega-wealthy (and Rob) live. Khloe has done more than just tout her own massive following, of course. On Tuesday, November 5, she wished her momager a very happy birthday. Kris Jenner is 64! “Happy beautiful birthday mommy!! We are here to celebrate you daily!!! You make life perfect!” Khloe gushed. She raved: “You make life happy and filled with love!” “You excite me when it comes to Life!” Khloe praised her mom. “You remind me that life is a celebration!” “You make me believe I could do anything at any time,” she added. Overall, a shorter post than her birthday tribute made just days earlier on November 3. “It’s your birthday boo!! I pray everyone is singing Happy birthday @kendalljenner!!” Khloe’s post began. “Kendall you are one of the most loyal rare gentle souls I’ve ever known!” she praised. “Since the day that you were born,” Khloe observed. “You have made all of my days brighter!” “I am so incredibly honored that I was chosen to be your sister but it’s an even bigger honor that we have chosen to be one another’s best friends,” she noted. “I am so lucky to have someone as selfless and loving as you by my side,” Khloe’s glowing tribute continued. It seems almost impossible to remember at this point, but Teresa Giudice was once in prison. It’s true! She was behind bars for admitting to her role in a bankruptcy scheme and her future on The Real Housewives of New Jersey was in doubt. Now, however? She isn’t merely back on the show – this ex-convict and her family are the show! This was made very clear on Wednesday night’s Season 10 premiere. When this opening episode was filmed, Joe Giudice had a week remaining of his 41-month prison sentence for bank, wire and mail fraud. Bravo cameras therefore captured the heartbreaking and bittersweet moments among his wife and four daughters, as well as the cruel things that were being said about these same folks behind their backs. In the end, everything came back to the Giudices, Joe’s situation in particular. Just consider the following scene: We had Teresa, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana cooking dinner with Teresa’s dad, Giacinto, and discussing Gia’s decision to attend Rutgers University in the fall. The 18-year old said she wanted to be an attorney. Milania then accused Gia of copying her desired profession, but everyone laughed because they had never heard Milania express interest in law before. “I’ve been saying I want to be a lawyer for a while because it gets me so mad that our dad is in jail and might be getting deported,” Milania said, as Gia added: “Yeah, but I mean, he’s fighting the battle.” As a very quick refresher: Joe was ordered by a judge to be deported in the fall of 2018 because he broke federal law as a non-U.S. citizen. He is appealing the ruling, but most reside in Italy while he does so… and no matter what Teresa says here, she’s totally gonna divorce him . “I just don’t know how the whole thing’s gonna go,” Teresa said sadly on the premiere. It’s hard to feel badly for Teresa or Joe because they’re entitled criminals who suck on, like, every level. But there are four young girls involved here, as Gia said on the premiere that she’d end her relationship with her father if he refused to fight the deportation. “I’m going to prom, I’m going to graduation, I’m going to college. Those are three big things I want my father here for,” she added, but Milania interjected: “No one cares.” The sisters then argued some more before Milania simply walked away. Teresa later opened up to her brother, Joe Gorga, saying: “I hate that my kids have to go through all this. Like, he’s done his time! And now, I’m fighting to keep him in the country.” Joe then conferred with wife Melissa about this conversation and cited the “cheating allegations” that are also following Teresa around. Joe claims Teresa told him she and the younger man with whom she was photographed several months ago are mere friends. “Friends it is,” Melissa reiterated. “I just feel like everything that’s gone on in her life always gets in the way of our relationship. It is what it is. I’m not one to hold a grudge.” In a confessional, Melissa explained there were “a lot of pictures out there, but if Teresa says she is not cheating then I go with what my family says.” She added: “There was a lot of tension between Teresa and I, but she called me and apologized.” Other Housewives also touched on this chatter. “There’s tons of cheating rumors going around about Teresa. There’s photos of her with some 20-something-year-old guy,” Margaret Josephs told the camera. “If she’s stepping out on Joe, who can blame her? He’s about to get deported, and he’s been gone for three years. She’s been through enough. “It doesn’t matter to me if the rumors about Teresa are true or not. What goes on behind closed doors is frankly none of my business.” ( Editor’s Note : We can blame her! She’s still married!) In another scene, Jackie Goldschneider, came across a video Teresa posted to Instagram of Jennifer Aydin doing her best impression of Jackie. It was far from flattering. “Teresa, to me, she’s broken,” Jackie fumed to the ladies. “She should be home with her children instead of sitting in a restaurant and making fun of me.” Melissa attemped to defend Teresa by saying she had “a lot going on” and wasn’t “thinking about what she’s doing,” but Jackie felt that was “such an easy excuse.” Jackie also said she believed that Teresa cheated on Joe. ( Editor’s Note II : Joe also believes this .) Later on, Dolores stopped by Teresa’s place and was given an update on Joe’s standing with prison and ICE. Teresa focused on the financial aspects of the process at first, but then elaborated as follows: “This appeal is costing me so much money, but I don’t care. I’ll spend the money. I don’t care. And then at least I’ll know I did everything I could.” Dolores left with the impression, however, that Teresa was over her husband and only doing this for her kids, namely Gia. Finally, the premiere ended the way nearly all Real Housewives episode end: With tension between the co-stars. Dolores told Teresa that she spoke to Margaret after Margaret’s dinner with Jackie and told her what Jackie said about the cheating rumors. Teresa was mightly peeved over it. “F-ck Jackie,” she replied. Meanwhile, Teresa went off to Melissa about the rumors she felt Jackie was continuing to perpetuate. And when she saw Jennifer had walked away from Jackie, Teresa swooped in to confront her. Jackie claimed someone had asked her a question about Teresa, but Teresa didn’t want to hear it. “Just keep my name out of your mouth?” she asked, as Jackie asked the same from Teresa. The two agreed to not talk about each other, yet Melissa said she knew the truce wouldn’t last. The episode wrapped up with Joe’s release from prison. He called Teresa from what is believed to be the ICE facility. “Everything is like lock down over here,” he said, concluding: “I’m telling you, it’s bad. My time is done, and I’m wasting my life away in this freaking crap. Mark off another major milestone for Amy Roloff. The Little People, Big World star has been undergoing one giant change after another over the past several weeks, from the sublime (an engagement!) to the tragic (the death of her mother). So… what now? Roloff has purchased a new home. Those who have been following the reality star’s life over the past year or so must be familiar with how she sold a parcel of her land on her family’s farm to her ex-husband, Matt. Ever since, Amy has been searching for a house away from the farm in which to settle down. She’s been keeping social media followers well apprised of this journey, admitting that she was a bit nervous because she hasn’t lived on a different piece of property in decades. But now Radar Online can confirm that Roloff has bought a residence in Hillsboro, Oregon; she closed the deal on September 27 and she paid $588,500 for the home. It’s located 15 minutes away from the farm, an insider confirms, and sits on .16 acres. According to Zillow, meanwhile, the average home price in this town is $379,200, meaning Amy likely purchased herself a pretty nice place. Also of note? Fiance Chris Marek helped Amy throughout the process, which does make a lot of sense, consdering he makes a living in the real estate industry. What else do we know about the home, courtesy of this Radar report? It boasts five bedrooms — very important when kids and grandkids, we’re sure, will often be invited over to stay — and four bathrooms and it takes up an area of 3,767 square feet. In September, Amy and Marek announced they had gotten engaged after three years of dating. Just a short while later, sadly, Amy’s mother died at the age of 86 after a lengthy battle with an illness related to a bone infection. Roloff has been paying her tribute on Instagram in the weeks since, most recently writing of her beloved late parent: Went to my Mon’s gravesite today. To feel her presence, talk w/ her, pray and be thankful for what her life gave to me. Can hardly believe that it’s been one month since my Mom’s passing and one week since her memorial. Still feels like just yesterday. Sometimes you just don’t feel or want to move on but you must. On top of all this personal news, Amy is set to welcome TWO new grandchildren in the very near future. Daughter-in-law Tori is due with a son any week now, while daughter-in-law Audrey is due in early January. Between these births AND a wedding to plan AND a move to make, we just hope Amy finds the time to count her blessings and to realize her amazing good fortune. We have no doubt that she will. PEOPLE is now reporting that the pair have been getting close since her split with Travis Scott last month. “He and Kylie have been spending time together recently,” a source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They’ve been friends for a long time and Drake is very close to the family.” Another friend tells PEOPLE that Kylie, 22, and the rapper, 33, have been hanging out “romantically” since she and Scott called it quits in October. Multiple people close to Kylie are casting doubt on a pairing though, with one insider saying Kylie and Drake are “just friends,” and another denying that they’re dating as well. Jenner and Drake, born Aubrey Graham, got tongues wagging after their friendliness at this 33rd birthday party at Goya Studios didn’t go unnoticed. More recently, Kylie attended Drake’s Halloween party in West Hollywood last Thursday, with one source telling PEOPLE that Kylie was there until “super late.” Jenner confirmed her breakup with boyfriend of two years, Travis Scott last month, tweeting that she and the Astrowurld rapper are on great terms, with their daughter Stormi as their main focus. She noted that their friendship and daughter remained their priority. Y’all think Stormi has had a playdate with Adonis yet? And if that happened BEFORE or AFTER Kylie and Travis split. Y’all think this is all amicable in real life? Maybe Travis is happy with someone else too — so he’s not tripping off his daughter’s mom dating his former collaborator?
