SMH… This fool had his 4-year-old daughter in the backseat and his 8-year-old behind the wheel!!! A man was arrested Sunday in Livingston Parish after state troopers discovered his 8-year-old son was driving the family from Mississippi to Dallas while the man slept, intoxicated. The father, Billy Joe Madden, 28, of Hattiesburg, Miss., was arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Jail. Louisiana State Police Troop A received a call around 6:30 a.m. from a concerned motorist traveling west on Interstate 12 near Holden, said state police spokeswoman Melissa Matey. The driver said a green Chevrolet pick-up truck was moving erratically and a child appeared to be the driver. Troopers stopped the pick-up truck on I-12, just west of LA 447 in Livingston Parish. Madden was in the passenger seat while his 8-year-old son drove and his 4-year-old daughter sat in the back seat, Matey said. No one was injured. Matey said troopers determined Madden was intoxicated while interviewing him. Both children were turned over to child protective services and are awaiting the arrival of a family member. Officials booked Madden with allowing a minor to drive, keeping an open container in the vehicle, driving without a seat belt, two counts of child desertion and two counts of no child restraint. His bond was set at $1,474. What the hell was he thinking? We’re glad he opted not to drive drunk with his two kids in the car — but this is just as bad!!! Source
Seriously, who chooses these people they want us to entrust our children to??? The principal of a Brooklyn high school for new immigrants had five students do hard labor moving furniture for her instead of doing schoolwork — a daylong field trip from hell that included kids being tossed around in the back of a U-Haul truck, The Post has learned. It’s at least the second time that Altagracia Liciaga, principal of Multicultural HS in Cypress Hills, has been investigated for allegedly outrageous behavior toward her students. Liciaga had sent the students on the dangerous excursion to a Midtown warehouse to pick up school furniture, with three of the teens sitting in the box truck’s dark cargo hold for both legs of the round trip, which each lasted 1½ hours. While two students sat up front in the cab of the truck with a student aide driving, the other three were forced to ride in back — including one teen who tied himself down with a scarf to keep from bouncing around like a pinball. “I thought the trip was very dangerous,” said one of the teens, who like most kids at Multicultural HS is a recently arrived Spanish speaker. “In the back, there [were no seat belts] for us. If I had known that ahead of time, I wouldn’t have gone.” No permission slips were filled out by parents for the unscheduled trip, teachers said. The student, who did not want to be identified for fear of retribution, said he stepped up when Liciaga was seeking volunteers because he likes to help out and because he assumed the errand wouldn’t take long. Instead, he and the four other students left the school before 10 a.m. on Dec. 14, hauled more than a dozen heavy cabinets into the truck and returned to the school after 3 p.m. After they had unloaded all the cargo on the third floor of the school, Liciaga thanked them by giving them tacos. Wait. Tacos, though? SMDH. A city Department of Education spokeswoman told The Post that Liciaga had been reprimanded. “The allegation regarding the furniture was substantiated, and the principal received a letter of reprimand,” the rep said. Wow. And you know the kids’ parents don’t know they can demand better for their children. Source

Olivia Wilde’ s been on a skinterview spree for her new movie Cowboys & Aliens , and she’s been spreading the nudes that her seat meat makes an appearance in the sci-fi/Western hybrid. Well, you can take those rumors and spread ‘em on your vegetable garden, because turns out they’re nothing more than bull dooky. Mr. Skin’s Skin Skout has seen a sneak preview of Cowboys & Aliens, and it turns out the much-hyped butt scene is less than Wilde. 1 hour and 11 minutes into the movie, Olivia walks through a fire naked and miraculously unharmed. Olivia may be fine, but Skin Central is still feeling burnt, because CGI flames cover Olivia’s seat meat in the rear view shot, exposing only naked back, and from the front we only see her from the shoulders up. Not to mention as soon as she walks out of the fire, Daniel Craig rushes in to cover Olivia’s gorgeous naked body with a blanket. That wasn’t exactly what we meant when we said Olivia Wilde’ s butt really lights our fire, guys. Cowboys & Aliens might be a tease, but members can see Olivia delivering the topless goods in Alpha Dog (2006) on our Olivia Wilde page!
It was a very happy ending this week on Weeds as guest stars Rachel Germaine and Christina Ferraro gave viewers a chance to sink their teeth into some succulent chest cutlets. Both ladies are nudecomers- Christina has had bit parts on shows like Melrose Place and All My Children , and you may recognize Rachel from her role in a Burger King commercial . And speaking of Whoppers, both girls sport ample, all-natural pairs that’ll make your mouth water! In the episode, Kevin Nealon and his co-worker go for a “massage” on their lunch break- you know, the kind where they do most of the massaging in the crotch area. Rachel and Christina start in their bras, taking them off as they rub and tug. But the guys are taking too long, and eventually Christina has to go, leaving Rachel to perv-form the two-fisted operation solo. Somebody give this girl a raise! If you are an avid music lover like myself, you most likely woke up this morning with a song floating around in your mind. That song followed you through your daily routines, rolling around in your head like the apple in your lunch bag, causing you to hum along and maybe even dance a bit while accomplishing your goals for the day. While not everyone has the same song that they consider “pump up music” in their life, the idea that music can improve your mood and be a catalyst for people in their daily lives is important to acknowledge. According to an article on NPR about a new book called The Power of Music , the author Elena Mannes “sees so much potential in music’s power to change the brain and affect the way it works.” From that perspective, music can be anything from a life-changer for stroke victims to a daily remedy for the average person suffering a bad day. The sounds of singing and instruments, no matter the genre, have the effect of medicine on an ailing brain in times of need. The tunes can range from slow jams to fast-paced anthems or classical pieces, but it ends up being the general melody and placement of lyrics that triggers memories and feelings associated with emotional growth. The knowledge of sounds, whether they be the natural rhythms of the heart or the pounding beat of an r&b song, can be detected as early as in the womb. Music is ingrained in our lives even prior to our birth, which gives strong validation to the idea that listening to the sounds around us is good for our health! 5 Ways To Find Inspiration From Within While this book is mostly associated with the affects of music therapy on patients with serious ailments, people with every day problems in love, family, or work can relate to music bringing uplift and restorative properties into their lives. After a long day caring for the children or sitting in an office cubicle, listening to a popular song from the radio or turning on your iPod to your favorite song can be a therapeutic and often leave more positive feelings in its wake. From personal experience, music has been both the optimistic friend that cheers you up and the “Debbie Downer” that helps me revel in my negative emotions. Both of these uses can be have a purposeful outcome in that when you need that emotional release, sad music can be a good coping mechanism, but when positivity is in order, there is always a crutch for that arm. It depends on what you are looking for from the music that you are listening to, as different moods bring varying degrees of needs. The improvement of health from putting on your headphones and feeling free from the strains of every day life is one of the strongest unifying properties of the listening experience, as people from all walks of life can experience the strong emotional value of music. Music is powerful in that with its melodic and healing properties, health can improve based on immersing oneself in your favorite song on your iPod or waking up to a song floating around in your head. The musical experience surpasses cultural or generational boundaries, therefore, it already has strong effects on the way people live. The instruments, lyrics, and voices of the performers are all very ingrained in human connection, therefore, bringing music therapy to light as having a strong effect on health is a powerful step in the right direction. As health becomes a main concern in the aging process, music can have the power to uplift, add passion, and center your life.
