Kerry Washington is going from the big screen to the TV screen in your cozy little home. She stars as Oliva Pope in “Scandal”,a new show on ABC. Washington plays a sassy media relations consultant to the President. She leaves her role at the White House to start her own firm but for some reason keeps getting caught up in the White House drama. This definitely looks and sounds like a good look for Kerry Washington and Columbus Short. When asked about going from the movies to TV, here’s what Kerry had to say: “I was not looking to do a TV show, but I read this amazing script with this amazing woman named Olivia Pope, and it happened to be for TV and so I thought maybe I want to do something different.
