Music show , Jay-Z is set to return to the Austin city limits for a special live-stream concert event. The event, “Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z,” was announced Tuesday (March 6) in conjunction with a new Twitter initiative for American Express cardholders. Rumors have been circulating that Jay might be cooking up a big event at the fest with Eminem, but nothing has been announced about Em’s involvement. Last year’s G.O.O.D. event was such a smashing success — featuring John Legend, Mos Def, Pusha T, Big Sean, Kid Cudi and more — that it wouldn’t be a surprise if Jay and Eminem were working on something equally entertaining for this year’s increasingly popular music and film festival. Jay-Z’s SXSW performance will be live-streamed on YouTube.com on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. A special rebroadcast will be available on-demand from Tuesday, March 13, to Monday, March 19, on YouTube, Twitter and Xbox LIVE. mtvU’s Woodie Awards also take place during the Austin, Texas, festival, including a day-long fest of our own Thursday, March 15, that will feature performances from Childish Gambino, Fun., A$AP Rocky, Kimbra and Chiddy Bang. Jay and Kanye lead this year’s nominees , which also include the Black Keys, Skrillex, Mac Miller, Frank Ocean, J. Cole and many more. The 2012 mtvU Woodies invade SXSW on March 15 with the Woodies Festival. The best of the 2012 mtvU Woodies will air on MTV and mtvU on Sunday (March 18) at 8 p.m. ET.
