My name is Kristen, I am 17 years old, and I met Justin June 26, 2013 in San Jose. Where do I begin? I have been waiting so long to meet Justin and I eventually thought about giving up. I went to his show in Oakland, CA on October 6th, 2012 and I had such a blast but the only thing I had hoped for was the chance to meet him. I knew he wouldn’t be coming back around where I leave at least for another year so it was disappointing. But then a few days after that concert HE ADDED MORE TOUR DATES and one of them was San Jose! I was so excited, I was checking every day to get tickets. One of my best friends was also planning to go with me and we wanted to get meet and greets so we were trying everyday. Tickets sold out so fast that we thought we’d never get a chance. We checked other websites for meet and greets and they were all being sold for over $2,000. Being 17 years old, we did not have that kind of money, so I got a job . I saved up every single pay check I got and we would waited till both of us had enough money. After waiting 4 months to have enough money, we finally bought our tickets. We could not believe it. We we’re actually going to meet the guy who’s taught us to believe in our dreams. The day was finally here. We prepped for this ALL DAY. When we arrived at the arena, we waited in line to get our passes and wristbands. It didn’t feel real. When one of Justin’s workers escorted our group backstage, I immediately got butterflies. It finally hit me that I was about to meet him. We waited for Justin to come out and when he did, everyone started fixing their hair and everything! It was my turn to meet Justin. I walked in by myself and Justin was smiling at me and all I could say was Hi. He said, ” Hi sweetheart ” and then he put his arm around me for the picture. After the picture he rubbed my back and said, ” Thank you, Sweetie ” and I walked out. I was sad I didn’t have more time to talk to him but what I got was all I needed. As soon as I walked out, I started crying. I wanted to go back in and just hug him. After I met him I walked to my seat in the 3rd row and waited for Justin to come out. I had the time of my life! Justin was performing less than 5 feet from me, it was amazing. My favorite part was when he sang ‘Boyfriend’ shirtless.. ahhh. I am so thankful for getting the chance to meet my idol.
