Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Sneak Peak Invitations Disclosed

Reports have been saying Apple has sent out media invitations for a preview event scheduled for this Thursday, April 8th, to show off the new and much-awaited iPhone OS 4.0. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific Time in the Town Hall on Apple’s Cupertino, California campus. Reports of iPhone OS 4.0 features began to surface in January ahead of the iPad media event. Apple iPhone rumors of  a new multi-touch gesture support, multitasking, and a user interface refresh were making the rounds. Multitasking has been the much-awaited feature for the iPhone OS 4.0 to carry. An implementation similar to that of Exposé in Mac OS X is also predicted to be included in the new OS 4.0. Other rumored features include a unified inbox for multiple email accounts and the ability to place contacts directly on the home screen. The new Apple iPhone OS 4.0 promises something new to be at par with the powerful smartphones, particularly the Google Nexus One Android Mobile Phone.  A new iPhone hardware is scheduled to be released sometime in the June-July this 2010. Update of Wall Street Journal and Engadget on Verizon Iphone (Iphone HD) Release Date and Taiwan Manufacturers

It all looks like that new and upcoming Iphone 4Gs will be made in Taiwan. The Wall Street Journal reports on an article that the two new iphones being brewed will be made by several manufacturers in Taiwan. As it is said in the article: The people briefed on the matter said the upgraded GSM iPhone is being made by Taiwanese contract manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., which produced Apple’s previous iPhones. The CDMA iPhone model is being made by Pegatron Technology Corp., the contract manufacturing subsidiary of Taiwan’s ASUSTeK Computer Inc., said these people. Apple is now planning to release a new version of its current iPhone line this summer. The upcoming model is likely to be thinner and have a faster processor, and will most likely catch up with the competition on the market along with the Google Nexus One Phone and Blackberry Smartphones. And since apple has already dominated the market through an exclusive contract with AT&T, plans of incremental distribution on the market along with Verizon Wireless on CDMA network is most likely to happen. Many Apple Iphone users and those who plan to get a new Iphone can just be excited about the new disclosures and the continuing Apple Iphone Rumors that the new Iphone 4G will be slimmer, faster and cheaper than before.
