Samsung’s Lee Kun Hee Leads the Company Again

Lee Kun Hee, one of South Korea’s most prominent business man has already went back into leading his company. His company is no other than the technology giant, Samsung. He headed the company for 2 decades until April of 2008 wherein he stepped down from the office because he faced series of legal troubles which is tax evasion. He was suspended for 3 years. He was granted with presidential pardon and was allowed to return to business world last December. Returning to Samsung has been much anticipated. His father founded the company. “Lee’s return removes what had been an uncertainty for Samsung Group,” said Park Yun-chae at Kiwoom Securities. “Under the ownership management, a founding family member offers long-term visions that are critical to the group’s direction.
