The veteran Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has been ruled out of the World Twenty20 Competition in the West Indies after straining an arm muscle during a warm-up match. Lee will be sent home after the injury he got in Australia’s shock defeat to Zimbabwe. Team officials have asked permission to call up for a replacement. According to a cricket spokesman, Lee obtained a muscle strain on the inner side of the elbow of his right arm. However, it was separate to the elbow which recently required surgery.
