On Monday night’s show, the ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has performed well. She ended up tying with frontrunner Nicole Scherzinger. Andrews together with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit the ballroom with a hip-shaking samba that judge Bruno Tonioli say “You were hotter than noon in the tropics!” The samba was Andrew’s redemption dance because she performed this earlier in the season which made the judges felt she could improve upon, which she really did. Carrie Ann Inaba told her that she moved herself up three notches. After garnering a near perfect score of 29 points, she danced a lyrical-inspired freestyle that included a couch and a bed for her second routine. Len felt that the performance was a mix of motion and commotion but still liked it as a whole. Carrie Ann called it risky, but Bruno commented that it was a bit of a “psycho drama.” The pair earned 26 points in this dance. They gained a total of 55 out of 60 points for the night.
