One of the top deadliest diseases in the world which is transmitted through mosquitoes can now be cured through transmission of the transmitter of the disease. Yes, you’ve read it right. Scientists are now looking forward to use the mosquitoes to deliver vaccines to human. Mosquitoes could one day be used to tackle malaria after scientists developed a genetically engineered version of the species that can deliver a vaccine. The idea of the “flying vaccinator” gave a full view when the scientists experimented a laboratory mice that was bitten by a mosquito to transmit the vaccine, upon observation, bites from the mosquito succeeded in raising antibodies in the mice, showing a successful immunization of the vaccine, according to a researched published in Insect Molecular Biology.
