A lawsuit was filed last December by Dan Petrocelli, Pacquiao’s lawyer against the Mayweathers, Richard Schaefer and Oscar de la Hoya. The lawsuit was filed after Pacquiao was accused by the Mayweathers that allegedly he was using performance-enhancing drugs (PED). The lawsuit was the answer of Pacquiao against the insults and accusations that have been said by the Mayweathers to him. De la Hoya’s lawyer Judd Burstein is the same lawyer that helped Pacquiao against his previous promoter Murad Muhammad in 2005. Burstein will try to get De la Hoya and Schaefer out of the filed lawsuit, the estimated damage as of now will be more than $5 million. Burstein was trusted by De la Hoya because of his good reputation on his profession, he already did some presentations for well-known persons like Don King, Lennox Lewis and Pacquiao, Donald Trump and The Backstreet Boys. Judd Burstein is helping Schafer and De la Hoya but he has nothing to do about the case of the Mayweathers.
