Singer Mariah Carey suddenly pulled out of her role in Tyler Perry’s new film this week. Carey won acclaim for her work in the film Precious. She was set to appear in the adaptation of Ntozake Shane’s 1975 play for Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. The filming was scheduled to start next week. But on Tuesday, she abruptly withdrew from the project.
