Guinness World Record’s tallest living man on earth is Leonid Ivanovych Stadnyk.  He stands a towering height of 2.58m equivalent to 8ft 5.5 in. Stadnyk was born on 1971 in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. According to Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records said that the tallest man on earth would have been China’s Bao Xishun after Stadnyk refused to be measured using the new guidelines but measured independently by GWR adjudicators. on August 8, 2007, Guinness book’s spokesperson Amarilis Espinoza said Stadnyk appeared to be taller than Xishun who stands 2.36m (7.7ft).
