Gulf Hotel Installed Gold-Plated ATM Machine “Gold to Go”

ATM Machine that can dispense pure gold is now available in Gulf Hotel. It is actually an ultimate hole from the wall. The outside body of the machine is coated with a thin layer of gold and this ATM Machine is offering to the customers with 320 items ranging from gold bars that can weigh up to 10 grams, to customized gold coins. The machine was installed beneath the gold-coated ceilings of Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace hotel, where royalty and billionaires come for cappuccinos topped with gold flakes, the machine almost seems part of the furniture. Why Should Planes Stay Grounded In Europe?

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) told that the commercial European flights are going to be severely interrupted provided that some levels of ash are still detectable in the air. In spite of the increasing pressure from air travel groups like the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other major airlines like British Airways, the UK Civil Aviation Authority reported that all current jet engine manufacturers has specified zero levels of atmospheric ash for safe travel. It is very important that they need evidence to prove that it is safe to fly, because they already have evidence that ash adversely affects aircrafts. The International Civil Aviation Organization has set guidelines which the CAA and all European states follow ICAO rules. The ICAO released a statement from the data they have collected that since the volcanic ash is composed of very abrasive silica materials, it can damage the airframe and flight surfaces, block different systems, chafe cockpit window and even burn-out jet engines that will cause serious safety hazard. Lufthansa Cancels All Flights

topnews German commercial plane flag carrier Deutsche Lufthansa has cancelled all flights to and from Brussels and Amsterdam.  It is for the reason that the airports will be closed since they are full, according to Lufthansa spokesman Peter Schneckenleitner. Deutsche Lufthansa is the largest in Europe and the world’s  fifth largest airline in terms of over-all passengers carried, operating service to 18 domestic destinations and 183 international destinations in 78 countries worldwide. French Balloonist Becomes First To Cross North Pole Alone

French explorer Jean-Louis Etienne has become the first solo person to fly across the Arctic by a hot air balloon. He’s aboard the Generali Arctic Observer, a hybrid hot air balloon that took off from Longyearbyen in April 05, 2010 at 6:10 local time. Jean-Louis Etienne, 63 years old, is a doctor from south-west France. He aims to cross 3,500 km within ten days by his hybrid hot air balloon. He planned to travel west over the North Pole to Alaska. During his expedition, he wanted to make some scientific observations which include measuring carbon dioxide levels and studying the earth’s magnetic fields. A team of technical and scientific experts on the ground helped keep track of him and they also informed him of the wind directions and weather conditions. Five days after taking off, he was picked up by a helicopter in Bagatai, Russia. He traveled more than 3,000 kilometers on his expedition over the Arctic Circle. What’s the Agreed Height of Mt. Everest?

There has been a long-running disagreement between China and Nepal regarding the height of Mount Everest. The highest mountain is transversely located between the border of China and Nepal. The two countries have finally agreed on a solution that the world’s highest mountain should be recognized as being 8,848m tall. Previously, China argued it should be measured by its rock height, but Nepal said it should be measured by its snow height which will be four meters higher. Both counties recognized each claims. This means that it could either be 8,844m (measuring its rock height) or 8,848m (measuring its snow height.) The first measurement was made in 1856. The widely-accepted height of 8,848m was first recorded in 1955 by an Indian survey. Instead of measuring the rock beneath it, it measured the mountain’s snow cap. Some geologists claim that the estimates made by both countries over the height of Mount Everest could be wrong, because the mountain is said to be continuously growing. New Moore Island Gone at Bay of Bengal

The countries Bangladesh and India have been fighting for thirty years over the ownership New Moore Island which lies at the heart of the Bay of Bengal. This very long debate was ceased by New Moore Island being swallowed by the Bay of Bengal due to the alarming rate of rising water levels due to Global Warming. According to the latest news, no more New Moore Island exists and it is now at the heart of the Bay of Bengal deep under it. In a report, Professor Hazra said that the New Moore Island has entirely sunk which was confirmed by sea patrons and satellite images from the sea. She also said that, “What these two countries could not achieve from years of talking has been resolved by global warming.” Global Warming has really taken its toll as the sea levels at the Bay of Bengal have been increasing for about 3 millimeters annually until 2000 and a very alarming 5 millimeters per year from then on to present. According to reports, not only the New Moore Island or South Talpatti Island banished but also around ten smaller islands surrounding it are in danger of being swallowed by the waters of the Bay of Bengal.
