Denee Baptiste Sits For Intimate Interview With Cleo Speaks In a new episode of Cleo Speaks , due later this month, Beyoncé ‘s choreographer Denee Baptiste sits for a very candid interview. “Known for her stage work with Beyoncé, Denee Baptiste shares her journey as a mother, performer, dancer, motivational speaker and passion for inspiring young dancers to follow their dreams,”  a press release states. Baptiste also talks about how “hidden colorism” in the entertainment industry affected her as a kid and as she came up in the dance community. “Growing up it was very hard because I wasn’t typically the ‘pretty girl’,” she says in a sneak peek. “That came up a lot as I was going through the industry. I was very skinny, I was the darkest person sometimes auditioning, I wasn’t wearing weave, I wasn’t wearing a lot of makeup.
