The Runaways star Dakota Fanning said she was a ‘little bit nervous’ about singing in her new movie during an interview with J-14 magazine.. The 15-year-old actress took on the role of Cherie Currie in the flick opposite New Moon star Kristen Stewart , who plays Joan Jett. “[Singing] was something that I was a little bit nervous about and something I’ve always been self-conscious about, but was something I was excited to do. But I wanted to make sure that I could do it well and do the songs justice because they’re so iconic and so well-known. I was really excited that I was able to do it and that [the real-life singer] Cherie supported me and was really helpful to me!” Is there anything Dakota Fanning can’t do?
