According to a Russian newspaper, the second suicide bomber who attacked the Moscow Metro was a school teacher from North Caucasus. Moscow subway system was attacked by two suicide bombers last week which killed 40 people and more than 60 injured. The second bomber was identified to be a 28-year-old school teacher Mariam Sharipova. Rasul Magomedov is the woman’s father. He recognized the picture of his daughter Mariam Sharipova, whose photograph is now circulating on the internet. The last time her mother saw her, she was wearing the same red scarf which worn in the picture. Since 2006, Mariam Sharipova had been teaching computer science at a school in the village of Balakhani in Dagestan. She also lives with her parents, who are teachers too. On March 28, Mariam together with her mom went shopping in the Dagestani capital Makhachkala, just the day before the bombing attack in Moscow. On Sunday afternoon, she called her mother to say that would be visiting a friend and would be returning home alone.
