My name is Ana, I’m 13 and I live in Rio de Janeiro. On 10/01 I came over my best friend’s house to make our video for the bieberfever.com meet & greet contest. We spent the whole morning on the streets spreading the word and stuff. When we went back to her house to have lunch, my friend texted me something like, “Did you seen that the submissions for the contest are now closed”. After that, we basically spent the rest of the afternoon crying.. the contest was our last chance to meet him. We were REALLY frustrated, my friend was crying so hard she couldn’t even speak. It was around 6pm and the deadlines had re-opened, at the time it was getting late and we didn’t have a lot of time to try to finish our video! We tried to give our best in the few hours, we had to finished it. Justin Bieber’s first concert in Brazil was on 10/05. My best friend and I arrived at 7am. We stood up from this time untill 2pm in the line to get int the stadium. Believe me, Rio is already naturally too hot and that day was too damn sunny. We got in the stadium, and here in Brazil there isn’t like seats and stuff. We ended up being the 4th row. The concert started at 8pm and when Justin was singing ‘Bigger’ I was felling really bad. I had spent the whole day in the sun, eating just few snacks. It was really crowded and I couldn’t breath, I couldnt even sing and barely look at him. I was going to faint so I had to move away from the crowd and leave my friend there. I felt like I destroyed my dream. I was crying when I left the concert, I was crying in the car, I was crying when I got home. Then I randomly deciced to open my e-mail and the first email said, ” Congratulations, Ana Beatriz! You’re officially invited to attend the photo meet and greet TOMORROW NIGHT (October 6th) in RIO DE JANEIRO!”. I was jumping around, I was thinking NEVER SAY NEVER. On 10/06 we went to Justin’s second show in Brazil. When we were in the line to the M&G, we saw Kenny, Bruce, Adam and I got a hi from Scooter! When it was my turn for the M&G, I first saw Kenny and hugged him, and when I turned around I saw Justin! I seriously freaked out and the next thing I remember was him saying, “hi ola” (hi in portuguese) and me hugging him. When we were about to take the picture, I realized that Alfredo was right in front of me. I was looking at the wrong camera of his and he was like, ”It’s that one”. After we took the picture, I asked Alfredo, ”Can I hug you?” and he put the camera down and was like “Sure!”. Justin was like, “Thank you bye, have a great time at the concert”. I was like.. did I just meet Justin Bieber, my idol?
