Heading into this season, America’s Got Talent assumed the hiring of Howard Stern would be its most controversial move. Then Timothy Poe happened. The contestant is under major fire for lying about his experience in Afghanistan, as Poe claimed during his audition that he suffered a brain injury from an explosion in 2009, but he has no evidence of this occurrence and the photo he provided to AGT of himself in combat has been debunked as someone else .
