Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile were seen enjoying a nice holiday vacation last week in Hawaii … and the two friends looked to be very, very close. During their mini-vacation, the 24-year-old actress and her close pal enjoyed the beautiful tropical weather and tossed a ball around on the beach. And held hands. Stewart wore tiny red shorts, a bikini top and barely-there blue tank top that said “Captain” as she walked along the ocean, tennis ball in hand. While Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are going strong – much to K-Stew’s chagrin, we’re guessing – she seems more than content with Alicia. Cargile was her assistant before they became close personal friends, according to multiple reports, and the two clearly enjoy each other’s company. Kristen and Alicia are now back in L.A., where they have been in separable before and after the holidays, after celebrating the new year in Hawaii. Not surprisingly, the closeness of the two in photos taken on the beach has sparked rumors that they are more than just friends, but it’s all conjecture. Good celebrity gossip fodder, but nothing to suggest they are anything but platonic, even if most friends likely aren’t as touchy and/or feely together. Alicia actually got Kristen to smile a lot in the pics we’ve seen from their trip, BTW.
