Mel Gibson is showing off a surprisingly muscular physique of late. The 57-year-old actor’s typically slender bod was on full, buff display in a tight tank top when he was seen leaving a gym in Los Angeles. Welcome to the gun show, ladies and gentlemen. Mel Gibson: Ripped! Monday, it was announced Gibson joined the cast of The Expendables 3 with Harrison Ford and returning stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and more. Gibson will play the villain Conrad Stonebanks, who co-founded the Expendables with Barney, only to go on to become an arms trader and adversary. You could say he’s pumped up for the new role.
