Okay, in most cases, that would be exactly what it means, but somehow, Apollo may have convinced the famously strong-willed Phaedra to give him a second chance, despite his history of astonishingly douchey (and criminal) behavior. In Apollo’s fist prison interview , he begged Phaedra to bring his sons for a visit, and to give their marriage a second chance. Phaedra skipped Apollo’s sentencing , and he reportedly stopped by her house to terrorize her one last time while on the way to turn himself in.
