Following another intense season of designing and bickering, Project Runway announced its latest winner last night. And who came out on top between finalists Fabio Costa, Melissa Fleis, Christopher Palu and Dmitry Sholokov? Dmitry Sholokov ! Thanks to a concept inspired by organic architecture, Dmitry included leather elements and a lot of geometry, which led to high praise from guest judge Jennifer Hudson. “It’s rich, honey,” she told Sholokov. As the champion, Dmitry will receive $100,000 from L’Oreal Paris to start his own fashion line, along with a spread in Marie Claire; a 2013 Lexus GS 350; a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor.
