No other details yet, other than the body of 36-year-old Adam Goldstein AKA DJ AM was found dead this morning at 7 a.m. on the seventh floor of an apartment building 215 Lafayette, law-enforcement sources said.
According to TMZ, drug paraphernalia was found in his room. DJ AM had not been seen or heard from for a few days — one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door.
The friend called the police, who broke down the door and then found DJ AM’s body.
Goldstein barely escaped death in a small plane crash in South Carolina on Sept. 19, 2008.
This is DJ AM’s eerie last tweet which he posted on August 25th at 2:47 PM:
