China jailed an Australian Mining Executive giant Rio Tinto for 10 years in prison Monday by a Shanghai and handed stiff terms to three of his colleagues Monday for stealing trade secrets and pocketing millions in bribes. Stern Hu who is the lead negotiator for Anglo-Australian mining giant Rio Tinto, was found guilty along with three Chinese colleagues who faced the same charges. However, the Anglo-Australian mining firm, the prime supplier of the raw materials that China needs to sustain its economic boom, announced it was firing the convicted quartet and said it wanted to maintain good relations with Beijing.
