According to the Los Angeles Times, ABC is declaring a triumph in the ratings for the last two weeks for “Dancing with the Stars” over Fox’s “American Idol” which grabbed a higher average of about 23.6 million viewers for the past two weeks compared to Tuesday total for American Idol which only drew 23 million. On the other hand, the Monday night episode of “Dancing with the Stars” drew 23 million viewers while “American Idol” only scored 21.3 million viewers.
