On Monday, an earthquake with 6.2 magnitude hit Southern Spain about 24 kilometers (14 miles) to the southeast of the city of Granada. The quake happened at 00:08am (2208 GMT Sunday) at a depth of 616 kilometers near Sierra Nevada mountain range, the US Geological Survey reported.
