Born on August 4, 1901 in New Orleans, the famous trumpet player & jazz vocalist finally won a Grammy in 1965 for “Hello Dolly.” This performance of “When the Saints Go Marching In” with Danny Kaye is from the 1959 movie Five Pennies — it's almost a mash-up of the song and Kaye's famous pitter-patter banter.
