A NY Man Arrested For Hate Crime After Slapping Muslim Restaurant Employee 26-year-old Robert Murino was arrested for a hate crime after he went on an angry anti-muslim rant and slapped an employee at a New York restaurant according to a report in the NYDailyNews … “How do you feel about ISIS,” he asked one worker, according to court papers. When Tahir Mahood, 34, of Howard Beach, Queens, tried to calm Murino down, Murino slapped him. “I’ve been here for the last two years and nothing ever happened like this before. … As a Muslim, I want to be polite, I don’t want to fight anyone,” he said. At that point, Murino was escorted out, but he returned a short time later, picked up a chair and smashed two glass partitions at the food counter.
