Somebody’s buying “Yeezus.” Yeezus Goes Platinum Kanye is beating up people and beating up the charts as “Yeezus” continues to push units. According to Vibe: Kanye West’s Yeezus album has officially hit platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). ‘Ye’s latest studio effort, which dropped June 18, has sold over a million copies and also marks his seventh platinum album. Yeezus was met with some tight competition as J. Cole’s sophomore LP Born Sinner and Mac Miller’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off dropped the same day. The Chicago rep will be resuming his Yeezus tour in February and has slipped the hint that another album with eight songs is on the way. Maybe the good news will stop Kanye from going batisht crazy on people–not.
