On Thursday, April 12th, I was home doing homework. I was trying to think of a way to meet Justin the next day when he would be in Boca Raton for the Pencils of Promise event at Saint Andrews School. I knew it was going to be impossible. It was a school night and I was getting ready to go to sleep. I got a phone call from my friend. She said that she saw a guys status that lives in California saying that Justin Bieber is on his flight! She Facebook chatted him right away, and he had wifi on the flight so he answered! She asked what airline he was on, what time it was landing and what airport he was landing at! He told us he was on Virgin America landing into Ft. Lauderdale airport at 11:35pm. They were flying from LAX. My friend’s mom said she would drive us to the airport! I got ready, fixed my makeup, changed my outfit and then my friend, her mom, my friends other friend and I left for the airport at 10:00. We got there around 10:45 and went to arrivals and waited on a bench! There were two paparazzi that we made friends with. We were nervous the whole time that Justin wouldn’t stop for us when he got there. We also started thinking he may go out a different exit! He had just got off of a long flight, so I was not expecting him to stop. I would understand completely if he didn’t, because I was expecting him to be grumpy and tired! It was around 11:30 and the flight he was on started to walk out! We were standing and waiting by the sign that said “Do not go beyond this point”. People from his flight kept on saying, “He’s coming, he’s coming!” We saw him from far away sitting in a chair waiting for everyone from the flight to leave. A few minutes later he was walking towards us! He looked so cute and was wearing dark glasses and a hat. I said “Justin, can I have a picture with you?” and he said yes and came up to take the picture. After we took the picture I said thank you and he walked away. He was with Pattie, Kenny, Alfredo and Moshe. They were in a rush. They started walking towards the parking garage and at this point there were a lot of people following behind him. He jumped into a black Escalade and was on his way! For taking 5 seconds out of his day to take a picture with me made my life! He didn’t have to do that, and I think it’s really sweet of him that he did.
