Polish People Bids Farewell to the First Couple

Poland’s first couple was put to rest on Sunday, the whole field full of crowd was mourning for the central European nation. The bodies of President Lech Kaczynski and his wife were taken with the historic “royal route” from St. Mary’s Basilica to Wawel Castle after the funeral Mass. The guests invited by the family were permitted to attend the burial in the the castle crypt. The late-President’s body was draped in the presidential flag, while the late first lady’s body was covered with the red and whie Polish flag. The ashen faced twin brother of the late president led grievers at St. Mary’s in this historic city at the funeral. Tens of thousands of Poles were dressed in black and joined the great loss of their country. They lined to thr streets and throwed flowers ate the motorcade that carried the remains of the president and the first lady who were killed in a plane crash in Russia on April 10.
