Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” Premiere Was A Star-Studded Affair “Atlanta” is clearly the place to be ! Last night, FX hosted the official premiere screening for their new original comedy. The lavish affair was held at the world-reknown Georgia Aquarium, where hundreds of fans, media outlets and stars showed up to preview the highly-anticipated original series. Atlanta cast members Donald Glover (also the show’s creator, executive producer, writer, director and executive music producer), Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz were in attendance along with executive producers Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle and director Hiro Murai. The evening began with a cocktail reception followed by a screening and a lavish after-party featuring music by turn up producer Metro Boomin and DJ London Thomas. Filmed on location in the heart of ATL, Atlanta details the lives of two cousins who must work through the rough music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families.
