Mr Steve Tan Peng Hoe, 38, is currently the executive secretary of Young NTUC, the NTUC#39;s official youth wing. As the executive secretary of Young NTUC, Mr Tan works with union leaders and youth activists in engaging working youths below 35 years. He is now a grassroots volunteer at Tampines East. Other than helping out at the Meet-the-People Sessions and other activities, he also helps to manage the community website www.mytampines.sg. Mr Tan has been married since June 2010, to Ms Sarah Ng
