By James Montgomery Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now Photo: Capitol After a one-week absence from the top of the Billboard albums chart, Lady Antebellum will return to #1 on next week’s Top 200, as their Need You Now sold more than 93,000 copies in its eight week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That was enough to claim the peak position on an otherwise pretty slow chart week. Gospel artist Marvin Sapp ‘s Here I Am debuts at #2, with sales of more than 75,000 copies. Last week’s champ, Ludacris , follows at #3, as his Battle of the Sexes concept album sold about 61,000 copies. The Edge compilation — a two-disc collection of rock hits from the likes of Puddle of Mudd , Jet and Hoobastank — scored the week’s second-highest bow, selling more than 53,000 copies to land at #4. And chart mainstay Lady Gaga ‘s The Fame is in at #5, with sales of more than 48,000 copies. Rounding out the top 10 are: Sade ‘s Soldier of Love (#6, 40,000), the Jimi Hendrix collection Valleys of Neptune (#7, 39,000), the Black Eyed Peas ‘ The E.N.D. (#8, 39,000), Gorillaz ‘ Plastic Beach (#9, 38,000) and Justin Bieber ‘s My World EP (#10, more than 33,000 copies). Other noteworthy debuts include the White Stripes ‘ Under Great White Northern Lights live album, which sold just under 29,000 copies to land at #11; the Drive-By Truckers ‘ Big To-Do at #22 with nearly 19,000 copies sold, and the Dropkick Murphys ‘ Live on Landsdowne at #25, with sales of more than 17,000 copies. After a sleepy seven days, things should return to form on next week’s Billboard chart, with the debut of Bieber’s much-anticipated My World 2.0.
