So you do the next best thing: You create a private resort for your family, complete with a water park. The singer’s Jupiter Island estate, sitting on nearly 6 acres with more than 400 linear feet of waterfront, is truly a vacation oasis, designed by the singer for her family and friends. And it’s for sale, recently listed for $72.5 million. The Grammy Award-winning singer, and now Las Vegas staple, bought the estate’s two homes for just $12.5 million and $7 million each back in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Increasing home values — even Jupiter Island’s median home value, which currently is rising 13.3 percent year-over-year — don’t account for the large price tag. But the two homes, three pools and water park, as well as the prime oceanfront, do. “It really is a true water park,” explained listing agent Joseph Montanaro of Sotheby’s International Realty Quebec, who shares the listing with Cristina Condon of Sotheby’s International Realty in Palm Beach. “It has slides and a lazy river at the bottom of it. It has a foot bridge at the bottom of it where kids can play. Being the person that she is, it’s hard for her to get out of the house with the kids, so she created this for her and her family.” Still no clue?
