Young Giftz, 22, of the Chicago based rap group F.O.C. (Focused On Cash), was born and raised on the East Side of Chicago and praises his upbringing as the primary motivation for his music. Giftz captivates listeners with his unique ad-libs, brash delivery and use of clever punch lines. Giftz notes his rap influences as Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Jadakiss, Andre 3000 and Bump J. Following the release of The Lake Effect, Giftz’s buzz has steadily risen due to hard work, raw talent, and dedication. His recent performance credits include opening for Rick Ross and Lil Durk at Adrianna’s in Chicago, as well as for Chief Keef at SOB’s in New York. Giftz also co-headlined with Caleb James of Save Money at Hustlepalooza (presented by Hustle Simmons) in Chicago. Giftz has received positive reviews for his energetic performances, captivating the audience along with his lyricism. Among those taking aware of the growing Giftz pandemonium include Fake Shore Drive & Nah Right, who sponsored his latest mixtape.
