“I need to have thyroid surgery and a thyroidectomy, which means I#39;m going to have a nice big scar right here across my neck,” the 41-year-old said in the video blog at the time. “It#39;s taken me a couple of months to really wrap my head around this… Now I#39;m good. I#39;m ready to deal with it, and I#39;m going to be fine. I feel really, really strong. Doctors say this is a #39;good#39; kind of cancer to have… My doctor did tell me this is a happily ever after ending kind of thing.” B
