In Young And Thirstin’ White Folks News: Taylor Swifts Is In Denial – “I Never Chase Boys!”

Riiiiiigghht Taylor Swift Defends Her Dating Habits Serial dating popstress Taylor Swift says that despite changing ‘boyfriends’ as often as she changes her clothes , she’s not the thirst-bucket bust down that she appears to be in the media. via US Weekly “I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me,” says the chart-topper, who seemed to make a dig at her most recent ex, Styles, during her Grammys performance on Sunday. “They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys,’” she says, quickly clarifying: “I never chase boys. They don’t like it!’” As for the aftermaths of those relationships? The Nashville native insists she’s never been one to get loud or particularly angry. “I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend,” she muses. “Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.” One way Swift gets over those splits, of course, is through song, with one track after another reportedly inspired by her men. “To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have,” explains the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer. “It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better…It’s just something I do to feel better.” Ohhh we get it. Actually, Taylor is telling the truth. All 509 of the guys she’s dated recently have been over 18, so she doesn’t chase boys…….just men.

Taylor Swift in Elle: I Don’t Chase Boys!

She may write about them, but Taylor Swift makes one thing very clear in the March issue of Elle : she does not spend her life going after members of the opposite sex. “I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him, people love that angle on me,” she tells the magazine. “They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don’t like it!’” Swift, of course, does pen tracks about those who dump her, however. But she says these singles are just “me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better. If people want to dissect the lyrics, that’s their right, but it’s all coming from the exact same place as where I started. It’s just something I do to feel better.” How might Taylor Lautner feel about that? Or John Mayer? Or Harry Styles ? Who knows. But Taylor also says none of them has ever felt her wrath in a relationship. “I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.”

Lyrics: Hey, over there, please forgive me If I#39;m coming on too strong here to stare, but you#39;re winning and they play my favourite song So come near, little closer Wanna whisper in your ear Say it clear, little question Wanna know just how you feel If I said my heart was beating loud If we could scape the crowd somehow If I said I want your body now Would you hold it against me? Cuz you feel like paradise and I need a vacation tonight So if I said I want your body now Would you hold
